In all seriousness though, if she likes them she will feel better about herself and your experience will be better unless she is too worried about ruining them.

And I didn't know what the name is for that style, so thank you for that bit of information!  This look reminds me of a similar nail look I often heard called "dragon lady nails" way back when.

Actually, just last year I was watching a show with my teen daughter when we noticed a young woman on it wearing a version of this manicure: hers were very curved and talon-like and painted a glossy black.  
I asked my daughter if she thought I could pull that off (make it look good on me) and she just stared at me for a beat then said, "I don't want to hurt your feelings, so..... maybe you could get that for Halloween? Otherwise, NO. Don't do it."

I never really understood it, but if you like it, rock it!

I like to do my nails and play with different designs but I prefer to keep them reasonably short and smooth. Don't want any sharp edges getting caught somewhere sensitive

The last thing I wanna see is a handful of long talons heading towards my girlie bits!!!

I also love a good deep massage, and long nails are counter-indicated for that

time dwelling on a woman's fingernails. I usually dwell more on mine. .. clean, short with just enough to feel while I rake them ever
so softly on her widespread thighs while ....

a stilleto nail too pointy imo but the coffin nails look better than the stilletos I don't wear either one.
Majority of the time just short square nails french manicure,pink and whites,or a red polish.
However I do nail modeling a few times a year and that's when the nail designs get a little wacky and the length can get long(not talon long).I only have them for a few days before I go back to my regular short nails but I have never had anyone say anything about them negatively and I still typed 60wpm
Guys seem to like nails very very lightly along the balls takes quite a few over the top
In corporate america stilleto,coffin,or any kind of long nails will not work or any kind of loud crazy designs/colors that is probably why you don't see that at work.

Because my back is so dry and itchy.  Hmmm, maybe I should have the providers put lotion on my back.

I really like them. One of my former favorites had the Stiletto style and they were fucking HOT! I love feeling nails on me and scratches makes me smile for the next day or so. Stiletto style only looks appropriate on the younger crowd IMO I think a nice French Manicure looks sexy for the over 30 ladies, but they are your nails so do whatever you want. Just keep them nice please.

Yikes!

Yes, I know I wasn't your target audience towaco. But, for any of you ladies who think you might like to jump that fence? Long nails are frightening.  

also hate when they do the big square white french tip type nails, the wife is a nail junkie and keeps hers mid length and rounded,and always a pretty color, perfect to me....sometimes bigger is not better in my opinion.
