Thoughts?

Is a stain on an otherwise mostly victimless crime.
If trafficking was involved the perps should rot in prison.

My thoughts are that the government needs to get out of the business of consenting adults. This was not a trafficking string.

How do you know trafficking wasn't involved? Article says it was. Not that it provides proof either. Info seems somewhat vague all around. I found a couple of articles with some more detail, and they both claim victims of human trafficing were rescued.

It seems to have become common for prostitutes caught in a sting to claim victimhood, as the alternative to prosecution.  This seems to be where some press stories get their sensationalizing "trafficking!" angle.
.
It can be very hard to distinguish actual trafficking from the above maneuver, when we have only press reports; it may be hard to tell even when we have court reports or similar more direct information.
.
And now "illegal immigrants!" is another layer of sensationalization obscuring even more reality.
.
I can't tell in this case.

I agree with this perspective. A lot is hard to tell. Cannot believe everything you read. And details are lacking.

No one was being trafficked. The powers that be that get funding for these pet projects say that every sex worker they encounter is being trafficked to make it look like they are doing something good with the millions they are wasting. They would rather arrest a Walmart manager and a guy who works for the Red Cross to show how great they are doing than release the Epstein list, where in fact the real sex traffickers reside.
I have NEVER seen any of these stings actually find any real victims. And I keep close tabs on them all through the US. The Sheriff in Polk County FL also got a personal message from me in regards to this nonsense. He is too busy though securing funds for the next big "sex trafficking" sting. The stings in Florida are more to catch illegal immigrants (buyers and sellers) than anything else. Sherriff Judd has a huge hard on for Trump so he will do anything to stay in his good graces. All smoke and mirrors.

...a lot these days.

I even saw an article about a bust somewhere in Rochester NY where they talked about busting a "sex trafficking ring" when it was a simple prostitution sting luring johns out to a motel with the promise of a "hot blonde."

The only female involved was the officer posing as the "hot blonde" on the phone and nobody was being trafficked. They simply arrested a bunch of guys thinking with the small head, issued some appearance tickets for which may be half won't show, and patted themselves on the back...

I do believe that these AMPs have actual legit trafficked women. Same with these "ethnic" agencies that advertise "xxxx beauties" (xxx = ethnicity). Cultures outside of the West may not see anything wrong with it.

Really highlights the wisdom of sticking with establish, independent ladies, preferably with reviews.  The cheap pussy found on the sketchy ad boards can end up being the most expensive by far.

This is at least the 3rd or 4th time Polk County has pulled this off in recent years!
