The legal consequences are much greter if you get caught running an agecny or 'pimping', 'pandering' or 'trafficking'  I'm established and have taken the time to learn everything I can about this business and I would be scared to death to be a pimp.

Just went out with a lady today and she's thinkin about starting her own escort biz, meaning she wants to become a pimp.  She just started provider this month and she's lower 20s.

A few days ago, I got contacted by a UTR provider that she's back, because she and her Boyfriend broke up.  Then 2 days later, she contacted me and said "I have a new girl you can see .. she's pretty." Ok ... a few days ago, she was looking for a client after surfacing back in the biz and now she shifted to pimpin.

Another UTR provider wrote me an email complaining her two ladies were not paying her cut, after she advertised for them.  And she wants to do more providing, so she contacted me.  Obviously, her pimping is not working.

Why are these ladies trying to be pimps when they are not even established as providers. I don't understand.

I think that with the "harder" times everyone is just tired of struggling with their own business so they've decided to take the easy way out.

Personally, I would never involve myself with screening/advertising/running a quasi-agency.

Agency providers are drama-filled, whining bitches.
New providers are drama-filled whining bitches with no experience.

It's pure foolishness and I've noticed it too.

If providers invested as much time and energy in their own business as they did looking for easy answers and easy money everyone would be better off.

Sadly you are right and I have to agree with you..get things right in our own backyard first.

As an indy I have developed my own style, and way of doing things. Now I know with my business sense I could probably pull it off, but pass for a few of reasons.

1. Some ladies are headaches to deal with. Late all the time, don't want to work, don't really like/care for clients, gossip, etc.

2. Prostitution is a misdemeanor. Pandering is a felony.

3. The pre-visit chatting, e-mails and so forth are important in my process and knowing how to best cater to a gentleman. With a booker/pimp/whatever that important step is missing.

I am sure a lot of ladies who worked for agencies thought "Hey they get nearly half my money, while I do all the work. What a great gig!" , and from there... Most people want to promote to management, no matter what their career field.

Yeah this one agency hired a midget, but it didn't work out, she kept coming back short.

It doesn't surprise me that you can't understand why a woman would want to expand her revenue possibilities within the P4P business.  A true pimp would not be complaining that her girl was not giving her a cut, she would be beating the shit out of her for it.  Pimps are about control, pimps are about abuse.  A woman trying to make a few bucks by arranging appointments or promoting  a protege is no more a pimp than any legitimate agency owner is.

She did some beating, but not in the physical sense.  She would go to backpage and put an ad that 'this lady is a fraud or LE', scaring potential clients about ladies that don't pay her.  It's some form of Internet/Backpage Bullying.

Well, I agree it is rather classless, and especially with your point about not being established and respected yourself as a provider before starting in on mentoring or hiring others..

That said, I have one gal (Stella Sapphire) who approached me, I think a gent I knew as well asked my consent to give her my info, knowing she was interested in providing, and I kind of coached her through the basics of the business, creating a site, getting involved on the forums, etc. along with occasional girls' nights out to check in and see how things were going.

We even met up one night at a strip club date, her with her fellow and me with mine- fun times :) She is still someone I recommended when I took a hiatus from providing, and it is always nice to have another gal in a small area (it's a decent size college town but very few upscale providers here) to talk and share info, and to do doubles (unfortunately we never got around to that, but we'll see.. haha.. I don't know though as I was away for awhile and now her site's down)

But other than vouching for her that I had met her, that she was attractive (also doesn't show face in her pics) etc. and referring her when I couldn't schedule an appt or when I went on a break from providing, I was never affiliated in that way, just an informal mentor until she was more established. There was definitely no money exchanged so this is not what you are referring to in that sense..

Another gal Sondre GFE, with whom I have a doubles review profile with on here from 2007 for a few sessions, was someone who was a civvie acquaintance that I knew from a former civvie job, and we occasionally hung out. I knew she was bisexual and open-minded with her sexuality, and sort of hinted at providing when the topic came up one day, and one thing led to another and she asked me to help her "break in" to the business and expressed interest.

Now that is one I am not sure if I regret, since I almost feel that (despite simply helping make her site, registering here and getting reviews, etc. and getting doubles clients to get her some experience- ok I had fun too haha- but again, no money involved in helping her establish herself, except the fact that she got her donation for the doubles I booked for us) it also put me in the (not ideal) position of, when she was unreliable, gents would contact ME as though I legitimately *was* her pimp and handler or something, asking if I could reach her or what her deal was. When I simply explained that I could not serve that role and she was an independent, they were understanding, but there was a time when I feel that I was linked to her and that when she did something, good or bad, it was a reflection on me of sorts, so I sort of distanced myself as a provider and we stopped doing doubles.. that said, it stinks not having a doubles partner in town- anyone interested? ;) Just kidding.. unless there are some professional, high class sexy local gals I have yet to meet.. teehee..

But the thing is, I was well established, and shared my knowledge more as a mentor, not for a fee or any sort of linkage of our businesses (but as stated, it still sort of put me in that position of being held accountable when I had to clarify that I was only responsible for myself as a provider..)

On the other hand, I think the services of a well respected and known provider are valuable to a start-up gal, and while being linked, and the legal risk, would make me very wary, I would think rather than taking a "cut" one would maybe either work as an assistant, agree to a doubles arrangement where both advertised and booked doubles as a team, or a ONE TIME fee for mentoring things like screening, basics of a site and reviews, message boards, reputation, and perhaps vouching for the basics (i.e. this person is real, the pics are real, intentions are good, etc.) But even then, personally I have enough on my plate. In my two examples, both providers were a very different demographic (Stella is in her 30's and very petite, and Sondre is an ebony provider and very very model thin, while I am more slender/athletic, typical blonde college co-ed look) so I thought that I was doing a service both to gents who like variety or have differing preferences, and to these gals- I wanted to ensure that they knew the safety basics, and knew another local provider they could contact if they needed help- I like to see it as a community where we (guys and gals) keep each other safe. Now, while like I said there are certainly enough clients to go around and I am not of the competitive mindset, there can be issues that come into play with this type of role.

I would think that working with unknown or little known gals would increase risk, and adding a percentage fee would exponentially increase both risk and drama/hassle- I don't really want to deal with anything but myself and my own gentleman friends, at least at this time! But am happy to talk with and help out local girls to the extent of my time and availability as far as giving references (that is pretty accepted/reciprocal) and like I said, when I had more free time, doing some (free) mentoring and such.

I do agree with another posted along the lines of the fact that I would rather have another gal (especially one who was well established, though) than a man/bodygaurd/true "pimp" if I was starting out and needed help. But for me personally, I was able to tap into online resources and my own inner resources and create my business without that, so it's do-able if you are determined.
