...they will never do.
I do a lot of reading on here because I feel I can continue learning things about this hobby. I have noticed lately that the topic of fake reviews has come up. My thought on this is if the provider and TER had a system where when a new review was written on them then TER could notify the provider thru pm or a text so she can verify she saw them before the review is posted. This could eliminate fake reviews. What's your thoughts on this?
But that may involve Ter to actively reach out to people for verification. I doubt they wanna pony up the money for the extra work. LOL.
I would say that as long as they think that their system is a good 60% effective. There's no need to change the way they consider reviews.

Not sure if I'm supposed to mention another site here but another verification site lets a client know when a provider has looked at his profile

...is a fully automated procedure on P411. No human "labor" involved.
I had a provider friend post in the LV section about a fake review. I PM'd her and told her to contact admin. They have always been responsive to me. Within a few days, the fake review was removed. My experience here is Admin. is mostly responsive and very responsible.

...they will never do.
For example, if the provider thinks it could be a poor review, she could deep-six the review, and thereby prevent other potential clients from being forewarned, among other draw-backs
A woman would know if she is expecting a bad review, and would very likely know the man's TER name from screening. She would not need to see the content of that review, she would simply block it.
The one thing TER could do that would eliminate virtually all of the fake reviews is to stop offering free membership. If you write two reviews in a month, you get one month free VIP (or at least that is my understanding). What could possibly go wrong with that scenario? Lol
Is the traffic from these guys so high that even if they never purchase VIP, it is worth it to TER? I really don't know.
Reviews should be visible to any one who logs on. The only thing that should have to be purchased is the ability to PM. More fakes are written to obtain PM privileges.

I think the number of fake reviews is not nearly significant enough for ter to do something about it. Besides, how do you think TER come to have the largest review archive out of all the review sites?
There's always a downside of anything you do. They obviously figured the free 2 week VIP for review written is worth the cost.
Rewarding reviewers with VIP is a system that works. Leave that alone
It is the problem of fakers that needs to be fixed. This is a separate issue.
How do you eliminate the fakes? Because right now, guys who want VIP sign up, write two bogus reviews that are typically way off from the other reviews the lady has and they still get pushed through. Now the provider is in a bind because she doesn't know this person so she has no proof that they did or did not meet. I would wager that there are many more fakes floating around then you think
My understanding is that TER can track IP numbers so creating a new name will not enable fakers to hide. Yeah they can buy a new computer but that's a lot more expensive than paying for VIP.
I would bet that you have multiple IP addys attached to your handle. Likely your primary IP addy is your computer that is static. However, if you log on with a phone at Starbucks...you have a different IP addy. Log off there and head over to some other wifi spot and log back on..voila..another IP addy for your current handle.
If your purpose was to log on with multiple handles...tracking via an IP will simply not get the job done.
I am 100% sure that there are some out in TERLand that create BEs simply for the VIP. Writing a couple of reviews that are in line with a gals other reviews typically wouldn't be noticed. Others may write scathing reviews using this method for other reasons.
If you need more information on how and perhaps why people use IP anonymizers....just google them.
And you don't have to buy a new computer. Lol.
Legit reviews. There would be a drop in the total new reviews submitted (which obviously TER does not want) and there still would be fake reviews. I also disagree with your idea that guys writing fake reviews just to get VIP are writing reviews way out of line with the lady's existing reviews. I would guess most of the people doing it just to gain free VIP would submit reviews exactly on line with her other reviews to stay under the radar. Fake reviews that are way out of wack are not written for free VIP. They are written for other reasons.
Do you also realize how many of those reviews are for ladies who are not on TER? You expect TER to contact every provider that receives a review?
Also how would this work for bait and switch, rob, and just poor performance reviews? You really expect the provider to approve those? "Yes, I saw him." "Yes,Those are not my real pics." "Yes, I chased him out the door in 15 minutes even though he paid for an hour."
Does yelp contact all the businesses that get reviews to find out if the customer actually used their service.
Sorry, but your idea is just silly, yet it is not new at all, and has been proposed before many times.
Not gonna' happen. Some guys are afraid of girls so they go under an alias and give little to no details so they can hide from girls lol.
Plus, there is way too much room for a girl to say no if she doesn't like the review. What TER does afterwards, is has us PM the guy and he has a choice as to whether or not he provides proof to TER.
I do suspect some reviews are allowed extra late, or off out of the 3 month time limit, (like maybe a year or two,) and also reviewed in another state to protect the guy from getting backlash from the provider.
It has happened to me - and they do get scared. I just look at them funny like - jeez what has happened to you that you're so afraid of women?
I've seen a lot. As it is important to have correct reviews, I most definitely, after some shit I've seen, understand why there is a separation in the review process.
Lots of guys I've seen lately want nothing to do with reviews. They pay for VIP if they need to so they don't have to write reviews. I totally get it, as it can be a little - ummm - thrilling
Would it then be required that we give our TER handle to every hooker we review? If not how would they know whom the review came from? Many reviewers don't post their reviews for weeks or months after the session. For those that are high volume well good luck figuring out which john submitted which review without knowing their persona on TER. So no this would not eliminate fake reviews it would simple lead to mass confusion and no reviews.
I think the system is being manipulated by people that do not want to pay for VIP. I think there should be more weight in white-listing... Or some verification from providers.
The review system is nowhere near flawed enough to render it useless as a tool. Thousands and thousands of guys use it every day and thousands of women rely on their good reviews for a big part of their livelihood.
The Whitelist system is quite another matter, using myself as an example, I have three whitelists and I have NEVER seen any one of the women who have white listed me. Not very confidence inspiring, is it?
Girl needs a boost, she'll reach out to a friend for alittle "help". And then there's someone that will charge a provider for a fake to review to help kick start someone...or again, as a boost to get the word out....It's just trying to weed out the BS that's the trick.
The most egregious offenders seem to be the prominent members who write glowing reviews for women that IMO I wouldn't spend money to be with.
1.) Who are they fooling?
2.) Who would consider anything they do, or say to be credible?
This whole world is a big fucking lie
so we must do research and rely on our gut instincts
This is a very good point. We need to share our strategies for finding legit reviews.
TER does the best job of any review site, by far. But, the real problem is not fake hobbyist reviews. The real problem are reviews "planted" by escorts. I can give you the name of at least top 100 I have seen that I know for a fact has fake "good reviews (10/10)." I can also give you the names of numerous others who have submitted fake reviews from accounts they create themselves.
TER fights this by allowing anonymous reviews via an alias. This is a great option. If the provider challenges the review, the hobbyist must prove they met. A copy of an email showing the scheduled appointment is sufficient and the reviewer can maintain their anonymity and avoid getting black listed by an angry provider. This policy is very good in allowing bad reviews, where deserved. TER is a good judge in this area.
The area TER still needs some improvement is fake good reviews. With VPNs, proxy servers and the like, it is not hard for a provider to set up fake accounts. Luckily, they are not hard to spot from a hobbyist standpoint. One review on an account ... good reviews ONLY for the agency or friends of a provider. Most escorts are not good at masking the fake reviews. A few, however, are very good...like the 10/10 I reference above.
Great TOPIC!! The more discussion it gets. the better. We need to share stories so as to help each other identify fake reviews
If the review is not favorable, she will simply say, Never seen him before.
