as an appeals court upheld a lower court ruling that video evidence against him taking in an MP should be tossed.  The prosecution has maintained that without that evidence, there is essentially no case.

 
You might say he got off twice now.

If it weren't for him some 90 other "victims" of prosecutorial overreach would have undoubtedly been convicted and would have those criminal convictions permanently on their records. Score one for the good guys. I guess the lesson to be learned is that it's handy to have a billionaire on your side when an overzealous prosecutor has you in his/her sights.

It's a win against bad police practices and prosecutorial over-reach. But it certainly won't keep the police from gong after AMPs and other hookers. They've been doing it forever and will continue to do it to make political hay. And, since none of us has the resources this plaintiff has, even if the police screw up we'll probably get fucked.
So please quell your premature celebration.

I'm interested to see how many municipalities ramp-up enforcement on speeding; just revenue generation.  

 
Also wondering if police enforcement goes DOWN because police are tired of all the BLM rioting activity and cries for defunding the police. I know I'd be like, "fuck it". I'm getting coffee and doughnuts until this shit is figured out.

It does help any potential monger who does get swept up, but the publicity of the incident really told the truth to some people who were oblivious to what was going on in strip mall jack shacks and FS places.  

So in that scenario, it certainly hurt the mongers and hurt the amps themselves as their neighbors watch them more intently. There are some FS shops well disguised as massage places, and they get more attention on them. When neighbors get curious and then complain is when most bust happen. Dozens of men going in and out is the #1 tell.

and I know that idiot BFSF misunderstood me, but he's an idiot so I am not surprised, but let me clarify for the non morons on the board. I did NOT say that ALL whore mongers owe him a debt of gratitude, nor did I say that even all AMP goers owe him anything, what I DID say was that the other 90 guys swept up in this bullshit and who were also facing charges, that those NINETY victims  of LE/prosecutorial overreach owe a certain billionaire a huge thank you, if it were not for the fact that the NFL owner would have most likely lost his team if he were convicted none of the  of the other "victims" of this travesty would have had the will or the resources to fight back.

 
I agree with your points that this has attracted unwanted attention to AMPS in general and that certainly is NOT a good thing for any of us.

Where it said as the first line "It does help any potential monger who does get swept up".
This clearly includes the other mongers who got swept up as a result of this sting, among many others and the other potential mongers.

You stated that it helped mongers that "does" get swept up while I only said it helped the 90 mongers who "did" get swept up. I honestly don't know how much this ruling will help in the future, but I know for a fact that it helped the 90 poor saps who got swept up with the NFL team owner who most likely spent millions fighting this.

 
For the record, I only took minor exception to your getting what I said "slightly" wrong, it's that real moron BobFromStateFarm who once again proved just how fucking stupid he is.  

 
I completely agree with YOUR point about this putting all AMPs out there in the public eye for nosy people to start asking questions about what is "really" going on BCD.
