When a provider knocks on your hotel door, she may stand to the side so that, from inside the room, you can't see her through the peephole. Why?

That was just a wild guess.  The real answer is: who cares?

Actually, considering that I almost always know who is showing up, I keep the door ajar so that they don't have to knock, which is something that is not very discreet anyways.

Hmmm.... I can understand why a provider doesn't want 10 guys knocking on her hotel room door in the course of a day, but I'm not sure why a hobbyist would care about one provider knocking.

And, yes... I'd want to see who is outside my room. If it's some 250 lbs. pimp, he can keep knocking (not that I've ever had a problem like that).

One thing I've considered doing is the same thing the girls do - tell her to text me from the lobby for the room number. Then I wait in the lobby to confirm she's what I ordered, and that she arrived alone.

The fact is, I've only done outcall once. Unless it's a very reputable provider, I'd rather not have someone else be in a position to make a scene in my hotel.

I understood you initially, which Jake's statement could actually hold an ounce of truth in it. Lol.
But it doesn't make sense....if you stood out of view on incall....you would never be let in. But....DONT knock! Lol!
