What is an appropriate tip for a provider that gives excellent service, 10%, 20% 30% or more?  Advice is appreciated, thanks.

I used to pay tips to low rate providers.  Now I can't find any low rate providers, so I haven't been tipping lately.  My gratitute to a good service is to repeat my visit to her.  Tipping routinely can spoil the providers who will demand  more from their clients on top of their  high rate. Many providers earn more than their clients and as much as doctors without the need to invest years of education and to pay off a huge student loan.  Since no one tip doctors for their good services, I don't see the rational to tip high rate providers.  In fact, providers should tip good clients to lure them for repeat biz.

Wow...do the providers you see share their cash flow statements, or balance sheets, or budgets of any kind? Unless you have those figures, I'm not seeing much logic in your statements, but I do see some "assumed generalizations".
My education is a business degree, and I'm still paying my hefty student loans!! Then again, comparing doctors to providers is like comparing apples to oranges!!
Your comments display low appreciation, and quite frankly, disrespect, for a situation you chose to partake in. Perhaps you are frustrated you don't make as much money as doctors?
I feel very fortunate to have met many classy and fun men in the short time I have been involved in this, and while I respect their willingness to choose me, and that they work damned hard to earn their money, some of them are able to tip...I never treat anyone with less than respect!!
Perhaps if you "walked a mile (or even a block!)in another persons shoes", you'd be able to apply some logic to your thinking on this subject!!

:)

I don't think tipping is necasarry. I think most ladies do not expect a tip. I would agree with the other poster that the best 'tip' you can give is to repeat with her. I have nothing against tipping, and have done it myself from time to time. Do what you feel is right.

when I think that the service is at least good and tip more when I think the person has gone well beyond that.  Most of the women I see are people I repeat with frequently and the tip I leave is in the 20% range +/- 5%.  I am generally very pleased with the times I've had, especially with those I frequent, so I would say that the system works well.

I certainly do not expect to be tipped nor do I ever asked to be tipped. That's just rude. However, on the ocassion that I do get tipped, I am very pleasantly surprised. Some of us do this only part time so we do not make as much as doctors! Generally, repeat business is certainly worth more than a great tip, but I honor both. Wink!

On hourly rate, an average provider earns more than an average doctor without having to deduct for tax and mal practice insurance. I know some single mom providers recieve welfare payment on top of their tax free income.  Yes, most doctors do make more money overall than providers but it is because they get stuck to work long hours and don't have the luxury to work part time.

I have had providers who hint for tipping throughout the session that destroyed my mood.  I expect the expensive fee to include everthing.  Guys like MrFisher are raising the expectation of providers that hurts average client who can't afford tipping and who has to work days to earn for a moment of pleasure.

BTW, I do encourage tipping AMP workers as their fee is half as much as indies plus they have to split the fee with the house, pay rent, and travel expenses to work in America.

As a rule, you pay tip to low income services like hotel, restuarent, taxi and barbar and you don't pay tip to high income services like doctor, lawyer, accountants, engineers and achitects.

Visit only AMPs and tip if you want to. Good providers base their fees on their assessment of what their time is worth, this is fair. If hobbyists want to tip providers on top of the fee, then it is their right to do so. I get tired of seeing guys like you whine about fees, if you want it cheap or for free, hit nightclubs on Friday or Saturday nights.

I don't request tipping nor do I condone it. Do whatever the h e ! @ you want to do and stop blaming it on indies. Just schedule an appointment with someone you can afford and stop whining. And please, stop comparing us to doctors. Oh, yes, by the way some of us do work daytime or fulltime jobs on the side, so don't assume anything about us. We don't know you and you don't know us. It would be presumptuous and assinine on my part to assume what you make. It's free enterprise, baby!

Somebody put the word in my mouth. I am speaking about the custom of tipping in relationship to  fee charged in comparable services. Seeing provider is not a necessity but a luxury.  So I am equally tired of hearing complaint about high fee as we have the choice not to see certain providers or not at all if we don't think the fee is worth the time.  Don't presume that clients know absolutely nothing about providers.  You will be surprised that clients may know more about providers than providers know about other providers because we met hundred of them who are of diverse profile the same way providers may know more about clients than clients know about themselves.

They certainly make more than the usual trades who get tips, e.g. cab drivers and luggage carriers.  But I don't think that their service is comparable to the professions you list.  It is true that they did not receive a degree in escorting from Harvard (Maybe someday!) but they did learn a lot if they are a good provider.
Also, having learned about the lifestyle of the average escort, I can say that their lot is not one of luxury or even the affluence that many professionals (myself included) have.
So for me, it was a matter of feeling that karma necessitated the giving of a tip.  That's it in a nutshell.

Bear in mind also, that a good provider probably spends as much time preparing for a session as the session itself takes.  They also have a lot of expenses for clothing, makeup, perfumes, etc. that we don't take into account.  This is on top of the regular business expenses of advertising, cell phone, transportation, rent, etc.
If I am spoiling it for some hobbyist by "spoiling" the escorts, I am sorry, but I think that I feel more affinity for the provider than I do for the typical hobbyist who, like me, is probably more affluent than the provider.  For those who don't have that much to spend, well, good providers don't discriminate, and there are others, like AMP's that are fairly affordable.  In my younger days, when money was tight, that is where I started out.  (And who knows, maybe will end up again?)

I agree, we make more than say bell hops, or restaraunt staff that one usually tips, yet we take a much larger risk than they do as well...and some of us even pay taxes for all this!! I've never had to desire to get to know an IRS agent personally.
Thank you for mentioning all the associated costs...there are many, and they of course go up and up, never down. My photographer, web master, cell company, manicurist, hairdresser, etc....the list goes on and on, all need to make a living as well! With the exception of the cell company, I tip all these people as much as I'm able to.
I NEVER ask for, or expect, a tip..that is in bad taste I believe. Sometimes I get one, and am very appreciative of it. Some can barely afford our lovely times together, and I appreciate that as well. I know all of us work hard to make the living we do!!

Independents make their own rate so I really dont feel obligated especially if they are over $$$.But I have.If its an agency, then I figure she has to split the donation. If service is good I think a tip should be reasonable 5-20%.If its an Amp,and the service is good, I like to tip 20-40%. Thats just me.

As a newbie, I've been tipping about 10%, and up front too!  (Against the "rules," I know.)  To my mind, a tip says, "Thanks, I appreciate you going the extra mile for me, and I expect to have a really good time."  So far, I haven't been disappointed.  I feel it's especially appropriate for the provider who has a day job and has to spring for the hotel for her incall spot.  If I ever do get disappointed, I simply won't go back.
