If you had plenty of time during this gorgeous weekend and the only thing you could do was to sit behind a computer and study how Eros affects the male population of the US...YOU NEED HELP!
I have plenty of time for the memorial day weekend. So I did a quantitive research on Eros listing to come up with the following ranking:
(The posting mess up the spreadsheet format, so you have to read the numbers in sequence. For example, NY has 656 escorts listed, a population of 8 million, 82 providers per million, 170 visiting, and 76 listed for $250 rate, 26% of the listing are visiting and 12% of the listing asking $250 rate)
total Pop /Million visiting $250 NY 656 8 82 170 76 Miami 320 0.4 800 72 59 LA 319 3.8 84 36 33 DC 305 0.6 508 103 87 SF 283 0.7 404 52 29 Chicago 244 2.9 84 118 50 Atlanta 206 0.4 515 35 32 Boston 154 0.6 257 52 29 Houston 139 2 70 29 27 Philly 128 1.5 85 56 23
%visiting %$250 NY 26% 12% Miami 23% 18% LA 11% 10% DC 34% 29% SF 18% 10% Chicago 48% 20% Atlanta 17% 16% Boston 34% 19% Houston 21% 19% Philly 44% 18%
Total=all escort listing Pop=Population in million /million=provider supply per million visiting, %visiting=visiting providers, as a % of total listing $250, %$250=provider rate at $250, as a % of total listing
Note that I have to use the search command to get a count on $250 listing (just type in 250) so it is not a precise match but good enough for the comparison. Also a couple cities do not itemize visiting and I have to use the search command to count visiting.
I am also reposting the ranking based on each ranking factor.

It's always seemed to me that Miami had a disproportionate number of providers, but the numbers you provided are incredible. I also thought that Miami's population was higher than it is.
I wonder, why so many providers in Miami? It doesn't attract a huge number of tourists, does it? Nothing like Vegas or DC, I would think.
Miami does get a lot of tourism. But many of the girls who live there don't work there, rather they simply use it as their home base. As a year round thing I'll take Miami over Vegas any day. As a vacation place, I'll take Miami over Vegas any day since I don't gamble. But when most of us talk about Miami we're talking about Miami Beach. The city of Miami is not where I'd want to be, especially after dark. Miami Beach on the other hand is great.

Thanks for the research. I heard that various problems in the southern states has caused an increase of providers visiting the DC area. This will keep a lid on DC prices.
