Compartmentalizing and Evolutionary Psychology

Reading this board lead me to investigate how the doctrines of Evolutionary Psychology may help to describe my head-first dive into this hobby, in general, and my relentless adultery, specifically. Although I've done some homework, the details I have found thus far are less than satisfactory, IMHO.

Rather than detailing my less-than-adequate understanding of Evolutionary Psychology as it relates to this hobby, I'll leave this wide open for comment.

The article was interesting, but I could not finish it, (too long).
It does explain walking on my knuckles, but if you will excuse me I have to hunt down and kill a deer, I am starving.

(sorry folks, I could not resist)

The article was interesting and I would recommend you read the key evolutionary psychologists referenced in the it.  Then I would look at the critical opposition, which is not as well known.

In addition to the problems that EPs have with actual evidence, they start with values found in Western culture and assume that they are universal.  They do almost no serious cross-cultural work, nor do they consult anyone who does.

Before making statements covering the entire human race, they would have to do a lot more research and question their own starting premises.

I provided a link to a really good book-length critique below:

Though the mind being modular is really beyond dispute, and that's demonstrated by losses and changes in brain damaged patients.

He himself admits he's a fan of EP. Most of the shortcomings he cites are problems getting good data.

But EP is correlated with animal studies, from monkeys to ants.

I will be impressed to receive emails truly willing to discuss this in greater detail...

I can't help but think someone on meth right now is on the verge of a scientific breakthrough.

I'd be more than happy to hear any of your thoughts on this topic. What makes you think us ladies aren't turned on by intelligent men who like to learn about new ideas?? :)

My purpose here is, most assuredly, NOT to turn on women. I am a cerebral man who does not walk through  life with my head buried in the sand. My eyes are wide open to ALL the world has to offer , which is not exhausted by women or, what Anais Nin aptly called "her sex".

Oh and by the way, I serve this community by my honest reviews so gentlemen can make informed choices about their chosen hobby.

Oh and by the way again.....I turn on women in many different ways Aug5. Learn the lesson: your capture rate increases in direct proportion the the size of your net, not your d**k LOL :)

Just yankin' your chain a bit....

Poor Ms. Darwin kept tripping over the empties all day long, so when she threw him out of the house over it, that's when he visited the Galacapoulous Islands.

The rest is history.
