I had a bad experience with a provider. When I tried to post to warn other members my post was rejected, because she delisted. I didn't know post were being censor. why have a board if you cannot freely post?
Pretty sure that rule has been around as long as TER has.
I even started a thread on the S&P board saying the rule change was stupid.
In any case the rule discussing delisted providers was quietly changed to allow discussion of "some" delisted providers on a case by case basis, but I think it was also quietly changed back. So the general rule is still no discussion of delisted providers, which the OP (having been around as long as he has) should have known. :
...hence the delisting. If she pops up again under a new name, you can warn members at that time, providing you can prove that Miss A is now Miss B.
I learned to always check a provider's membership status years ago in a similar way as you have.
And yes! "Censorship" is omnipresent as compared to back when.............
What if a girl was stalked/outed/blackmailed? If somebody posts 'Gee, whatever happened to so-and-so' and an idiot either said, 'Oh, she's still around, just email her at XXX,' or 'Oh, she's going by XX now, her new site is...' imagine the harm that could result from that. Whenever I see posts like, 'Oh, I see that so-and-so took her site down, and does anyone have any current info??' the lack of consideration and respect for privacy honestly upsets me. It's like, either email the chick and ask HER...or just realize that if she wanted dudes to know where she went, she would have posted a PSA. Please don't think this is so farfetched, as I speak from experience here.
Anyway, I had a good reason to delist...it's hard for people whose privacy hasn't been compromised to realize what a HUGE privacy risk this site entails. It's where people go to get the skinny on girls, and all types of people want to get that info...hobbyists, stalkers, gossips, assholes.
So in sum, I sympathize w/your quandry. But, I feel that it's better to err on the side of caution...comparing outcomes. Anyway, if she has to delist, she won't get the business that an established, legitimate escort would. So it's not like she's really helping herself. Basically the same outcome comes from bad reviews and delisting...people won't see her. And, the people who are dumb enough to see, probably wouldn't have read reviews or board posts anyway. You can't protect other ppl from their own stupidity, especially when they don't take time to research.
I just assumed a delisted provider broke some rules on the board one too many times.
Shame on me.
I don't get why a client would go out of their way to screw a provider. Especially married/ rich guys.
I'll bet they are the same type to complain about everything.
The kind of ass that would bitch about his eggs being over easy, instead of over medium..
I say "Fuck you!" Wait a minute, and your stupid eggs will cook on the plate.
Then I'll shove the bacon up his ass!
Sorry for the shitty metaphor.
It sucks that the provider has to change her name because of one asshole.
It can't help biz.
At the very least. You taught me something.
Thanks :
Hi again,
It's not 'brave' of me to post and talk about what so many people already know. It's been mentioned before and I have no need to hide anything. Anyone who has shown interest in me has come across my rod in the due course of research. It doesn't matter to me if the people who never bothered to research me now know about it- I obviously wasn't on their radar to begin with.
If I depended solely on meeting new people, it would be one thing, but those I've met know it's false and continue to see me. Indeed, most people read it and realize how catty it comes across. I personally believe another girl wrote it. At the end of the day, it didn't hurt me because I am real with those I develop relationships with. Paradoxically, the people who believed it at face value proved through correspondence that I wouldn't want to see them regardless.
None of that was the point however. The point is that, speaking from experience, I wouldn't wish one on anyone. I do see now that I was mistaking a rip off advisory on TER versus one on that other website, and I apologize for that. Also for somewhat changing the path of this thread (sorry OP). You could all understand why I'd react that way though...
Again, apologies for misunderstanding the post referencing a rip off report. No feelings of insecurity about my own, however- so no apologies on my "stupidity" for letting cat out of the bag one something people were aware of regardless.
Kiss me,
Kate
Kate, don't worry about it and thank you for sharing your story. When I see all 10's I do wonder (on a gal's profile)... but I read that ROR and the person mentioned as the "victim" flat out responded (on the comments section) and said it wasn't true. So as far as that, in my eyes the ROR was made in hate to mess with you.
Quite a bit on both sides of the fence... Guys don't want to be ripped off. Women don't want fake bad reviews by petty men. Neither want to be outed/blackmailed/stalked. I don't get this world sometimes, or the at times, the real world. I don't know what ever happened to being honest and respectful.
Here on TER as a delisted person under providers with something to hide. I believe anyway
good luck , Miss K
