I find scrolling annoying. I don't always start reviewing a provider's website in the same place. Plus I'm usually mobile and scrolling can be a pain. If you write well and keep my interest, I'll read About Me even when it is long. If I've seen one pic and like it, I may just start at My Rates. Or if you're rates are higher than I can easily afford, I'll need pics to make we want to see you regardless of your fee.

Links make this very easy for me. I like easy.
BTW ... hour pics are hotttt

Without posting links I have noticed more and more sites for providers that just keep scrolling leading to the next "page" instead of clicking links to get to the other pages (there is still a menu with links but you can scroll away instead if you want or just naturally do it).

I for one don't like the scrolling pages but I am not the client so I am looking to see if anyone dislikes or really likes this site layout or if you're painfully neutral.

Thanks!

Ladies who have scroll sites maybe share here?

For one thing, usually there are ads and links and it takes longer to load. Not much. But while stuck on the first page, the first time I visit the site, I'm looking around for a menu pull-down, and it takes a few seconds before realizing that it's all on one page.

Maybe if there were nothing but scrollers (or a lot more of them) I'd get used to them and find them preferable.

One question. Is there any way that you can get a count of how many click on your site? And if so, can you also keep track of how many clicks you get on Rates, Gallery, Contact and the other pages? If so, that would be a strong argument for the multiple page over the scroller.

because  sometimes when we first look at a website, we don't want to see everything.  Some guys, like me, will check the photos, then leave and come back later after we have narrowed our selection down to one or two girls.  Others will check rates first, while others will check stats first if they like a certain physical look (tall, spinner, thin, curvy, hair color, etc.).  So I think your instincts to go with links rather than scrolling automatically though the entire site is the correct one.

This allows us to read the content on your site at our pace, not as directed by your web-site manager.  Just my opinion, FWIW.

I'm getting ready to revamp my website, and have been looking at different styles. I haven't posted this question because I didn't know how to ask without links. But I am also curious. I am personally a little old-fashioned probably when it comes to sites, as I prefer the dancing babies, glittery unicorns, and rainbow text. Just kidding. Lol!

But I do agree with CD that I like links and pages to be distinct and not run into each other. I just always feel I'm missing something if I scroll through all the pages.

I just found this list of ten best website ideas. I'll post some links here:

A lot of them are the same thing- the scrolly thing which I really find confusing and thus annoying. With the old way, buttons and a menu that is consistent on each page, you know where you are at all times and can find your way around. But the scrolling ones are like being in a house where the rooms keep changing or rotating and you get disoriented really easily.

On some scrolling sites, I can't even tell where I am or what I'm reading. I mean, I think I'm looking for "About" (stats, etc.) and I'm reading something else that doesn't tell me what I want to know.

Definitely meaningful links, preferably without any weird names ("Gallery", "Portfolio", or "Visuals" ... not "Ocular Stimulants").

"Ocular stimulants" I giggled for 5 minutes straight! Thanks for that!
But I get your point - some sites, I can't tell what menu link leads to what.

.. the clickable page menus instead of the page scrolls. It's just quicker and more convenient to navigate to whatever area on the website that I want to browse.

For example, on some sites, if you want to go from a photo back to the gallery page, you have to go all the way back to the first page.  That's a pain.

Also, the best way of showing photos is the method where you hover the mouse over the thumbnail pic, and then it blows up to full size.  Kudos to gals who have that on their sites

and don't think I have a preference, as long as the site is basically easy to use and clearly marked. One thing about the scrolling sites is that I prefer there to be a button to get back to the top of page easily instead of using the scroll bar on the right. That's a PITA.

If I was being tortured and had to choose...Links

I love women, if I'm looking at your site i want to see you. Just make it easy for me.

What really matters isn't scrolling vs links, or if you video or a mailing list or a blog. Or even how many pictures you have. These can be icing on the cake, but that's it. And yea, scroll plus links can look better than links alone, but it's hard to pull off well. And forget scroll with no links.

As someone who spends WAY WAY too much time, on escort websites, here's what I think matters to clients like me, and and probably gets business for you

- What do you look like? A handful of clear, good pics is all that it takes. And face can be covered. But please, no art albums so posed and blocked that we still couldn't recognize you on meeting.
- Do you have reviews? Where? Save me some googling.
- What are your rates? And make it simple and clear. Different rate for incall, outcall, length of time is of course fine. And maybe even for PSE vs GFE. But stop there.
- Is there anything huge I should know about? If you don't allow reviews say so up front. Don't want under 35 or a certain race? Great! Just tell me so we don't waste each other's time.
- Do you have a menu? Not required but if you are comfortable listing it (or inviting me to write for it) then bonus points
- Are you available? Where and when? Ideally, a box on the front of the page that clearly shows when and where is huge. But if you don't want to hassle with it, just a link to a P4you-know-what calendar is great if you are really careful about keeping the calendar up to date. And that includes saying "not available" when you aren't.

If the above is there and easy to find, nothing else matters that much. You can use you a free site with a template made 5 years ago and it won't make any difference.

On the other hand, an expensive, professionally designed website with a killer landing page won't get you very far if the basics aren't there or are hard to find.

from buttons, preferably at the top of the website. Some sites have links on the side but the top links seem to be easier to use.

What an interesting question. And, come to think of it, yes, there are more of these scrolling sites nowadays. My site is half and half I suppose. Scrolling seems easier than clicking individual links, but to ensure the page doesn't take eons to load, I have my photos and blog on a separate link.
