That style (pounding) was never my forte.  Just didn't get me to the point I wanted to be at.  But I can only guess that for every guy that likes it soft, slow and sensuous there is the opposite guy that needs to "ram it as hard as he can for as long as he can".  But not having a first hand (pun) experience, I am only surmising.  

I would guess the ladies can tell you a whole lot better how often she sees the "pounder" and if he can really go at it for an hour like that.  And would she really want him for a return visit?

I have used the term "pounded away" many times in reviews-- in fact, I just wrote a review a few minutes ago and used the term.  But I don't think I've ever inflicted any pain on anyone I've been with.  Nor would I ever want to.  For me, sex is all about pleasure-- for both parties.  I only use the expression, "pounded away" to describe a particularly enthusiastic moment in the sex.  I also use the expression in reviews simply to vary the language.  I guess a should get a sexual thesaurus to move me off of this less than accurate expression.

yeah, a couple of the other folks have mentioned, sometimes they feel they need to "pound", i guess because the provider is kind of just laying there.  I've found myself doing that, too, when you're not getting anything back.  but if the lady starts rocking with you, and kind of "grabbing" at you in rhythm, that's better than anything.

I definitely do not just lay there, and I do enjoy a great pounding, but not for the entire hour.  Slow and steady with some pounding in between is definitely the best, IMO.
