I'm seeing only non-US cities on the Ad Board. Is this a temporary issue with the site or is it due to SESTA?
With providers via their email or twitter. Both can be found under our profile. To my understanding US sites need to be removed although I’m not sure a chat board such as this is included.

I am so sad that NY ad board is gone....I didn't post much in there because, living/hosting in Manhattan, I have many regulars.
But I feel for the ladies with paid hotels, ads, airfares to tour NYC and now they cannot get the TER guys to book them.
The bill doesn't reach outside the USA. They can't get interpol to haul you in
Any portion of a company’s activities that occur in the US fall under the jurisdiction of US law. They absolutely can get Interpol to haul them in. We have bad relations with Mexico right now, but Mexico still extradites drug dealers to us. Countries will do the same when the US asks for someone wanted on a child sex trafficking charge.
TER and other companies are scared because their lawyers are telling them they’ve got good reason to be scared.

Apparently there’s a clause in the bill that allows for retroactive reach. Meaning if a company feels they need to adapt policies in order to comply with the law, they need to do it now.
Second fallacy floating around in the comments is the idea that overseas persons/entities are beyond the reach of US law enforcement and civil courts. The majority of Mueller’s indictments are for people who lived/acted overseas while violating US law. Hackers/torrent players have been extradited back to the US. Julian Asaange is still living in an embassy to avoid extradition to the US, even though the original charges against him back in Sweden have been dropped. These escort ad executives and owners apparently have decided that it’s not worth the risk of winning a diplomatic standoff over a child sex trafficking charge. They probably figure their home countries aren’t going to come to therir defense.
It may be temporary. The full reach of the law won’t be known until the bill is signed into law and the Justice Department writes implementing rules. But until then, the companies are deciding to risk being the first test case of this new legislation.
Changing now won’t protect them from retroactive. But that part I’m sure will be challenged in court and removed, what a waste of time and money.
It would be nice to get some kind comment from TER about their plans going forward when they know, that is! I was just getting ready to post an ad on the NY Board for an upcoming trip in April!

Nobody will have an idea of full impact until the Presidentbsigns the bill and then the Justice Department publishes the implementation rules into the Federal Register. That will take months.
Further consequences won’t be known until first cases are prosecuted and then the courts get the opportunity to weigh in. That could be years.
I agree it’s not near final. But I wonder if sites are currently being threatened pending the full implementation? Wouldn’t surprise me if they were threatening sites directly right now.
Fortunately I have enough contacts who will love to see me more often than before, and not ready to retire.
As long as threads like this aren’t deleted I can always go back to see who posted and see them.

Another said they Locked her twitter account apparently for violating content rules. In my opinion it's wise to change our websites to something Vanilla such as Photography, Cars, Cupcakes whatever so at least they can connect with us. Just send that link to your clients and change your twitter to a vanilla one So long as you stay present. Sure don't want to lose access to your google voice contacts or gmail contacts. Just sayin!
Not sure what’s going on but It seems ter has made the US ad boards “private”, and are just no longer open to the “public” . I have been redirected to email as shown here to regain access. Maybe this is a good thing that ter is taking precautionary measures to make the ad boards private & no longer viewable to the public?

For what it’s worth, I consulted with P411 and they said that they are a 100% Canadian company and are subject to there laws not the USA’s.
But some people think that because they advertise US-based escorts, they will be held liable for some shit.
Of course, no one knows the implications of this bill until they actually convict offenders.
If everyone on p411 can prove they are escorting voluntarily without force, fraud, or coercion, the feds should have no case, and sesta fosta should not apply.

Im not a liar, I mean lawyer, but will it be a felony to advertise services in the US?- even if you are doing it in another country? My guess is yup, and the feds have a 98% conviction rate and unlimited legal resources. They make the laws, enforce the laws, and even run the prisons.
Also Canada has a very special relationship with US LE. That's why Americans cant enter Canada with any criminal record (even a DUI from years ago will keep you out) How do they know? The US LE gives Canada full computer access to all US criminal records. Canada is unique in this access.
You can bet that Canada will help the US when it comes down to Sex Trafficking because the US has already tied it to terrorism. Someone posted the bill and it is directly aimed at promoting the act of prostitution via trafficking not sole sex workers. However as in every bill and statute it adheres to there are ways around it. I am surprised some of these site whos main revenue comes from this sort of advertising don't turn straight to their attorneys and find ways around this. One major advertiser, we all know who, has. But I have also heard, rumor only, that their counsel is the same who represented Larry Flint and we all know that was a full time job!
I took business law in college and did quite well in it. I had to go up against a city prosecutor for another matter not related to this industry and won. It wasn't easy, she was tough and as most of us know prosecutors are strictly out for wins as most go onto political office.
If I hadn't taken these courses I would've never known how to read the law, dicipher it and twist it into my favor. This is what attorneys do and each sucessful business has counsel on retainer so why is this happening? It should have been expected and a fail safe in place to protect their business in such a case.

I'm going to offer the opinion that this law's bark will be worse than it's bite, and once we get over some rough patches at first, it will get back to business as usual.

I agree with this. Only 2 people voted against this including rand Paul. We should get a list of all who voted for it and if any providers have them as clients they should out them and be backed and supported by our community because this can really impact the lives of a lot of women and their families.

Unless a guy is ready to write a letter to the editor (i.e. publicly expose himself as an active participant in an illegal activity) and state he is upset with this bill because it hinders his access to his favorite touring escorts, he can’t expect a women to expose her entire life, end her career or worse.
It’s a fucked up situation. But asking others to put themselves in harms way is not an option.

Last night both the /r/hookers and /r/escorts communities on reddit were shut down, and now this. The TER ad board was easily one of the best resources available for finding good providers.

P411 is based in Canada and TER is administered from Amsterdam and the servers and corporate offices are in South Africa. How will this law be enforced in the international arena?
I believe Proton email is not secure unless both parties use it. For example; If I use Proton and the receiver has Gmail the encryption is not effective. Any comments would be appreciated.
I believe your assumption would be correct. But reccomendations to your guide, or their reccomendations to their clients to switch is an easy resolve to the issue. Do what YOU can to protect yourself.
