TER General Board

This might be a pretty common question, but how would go about getting into this business?

i.e, Pimp. Is there an advantage to having one? or not having one? I'm not talking gangster thug. I'm thinking from the point of view of a smart, driven, business oriented mind that has never done anything the normal way. And doesn't really want to. What's the benefit of the escort service vs. independent? Is there a way to sort of combine the two so that providers still remain independent but have the details of daily operations worked out for them? Would that even be helpful? How would you work it out financially? And where would one even go about starting to find the right providers to put it into motion? Curious. ideas? discuss...

SYLLABUS

1) Bitch slapping
2) B & E
3) Bait & Switch
4) Smash & Grab
5) Roll the John
6) Pimp tats
7) Managing the Stable--Advanced Pimping

First of all, what's B & E?  (Breaking and Entering, for pimping? Wuzzup widdat?)

If I want to modify my Ford Pinto into a tricked out lowrider pimpmobile, is there a shop class to teach me how to do that or am I supposed to barter free time with my bitches in exchange for some pro to do the work for me?

Best of luck...the world needs more hookers  LOL

Seriously. While i was stuck at the laundry mat today, watching my clothes go around in the dryer for an hour I started thinking about it. I don't make a habit out of talking to girls about their business, so I thought this would be a better place to get some input rather than you know, facebook. Although, I could probably get some pretty good insight on facebook. I might try it.

I'd suggest that you read the boards and make friends with the providers for advice. My sense is independent provider is the way to go (I only see independents), but maybe not starting out? In any case I would trust current or past providers vs. "guy" managers.

....here at TER and read through a couple of pages of postings, many of your questions will be answered.  Also, post your questions on that board and you will get helpful responses,

In order to be a pimp, you gotta add value, perceived or real, to the provider.  What value would you add?

Who are of sound mind entering this business, who know what they want to gain from it, and know themselves well enough to not be abused or physically damaged by this industry are not going to trust a man to run the show. I certainly wouldn't. I've been indy since the beginning and I plan to stay indy until I leave, but if for whatever reason, I decided to work for an agency, or have a manager, it would most definitely be run by a woman.
