Breakups. Don't people love  their freedoms and independence . There's plenty of men and women out there ,and if it's meant to be,you will find someone else , but if not why not continue to live and enjoy life your single life and make the best of it.  

will "find someone else."   Eighty percent of the women are seeking twenty percent of the men.  Women seem to seriously overrate themselves, or else don't consider any of their own attributes except looks, so they reject men that they should accept.  At the same time, many men are bad at evaluating all of the positives they can bring to the table, so they are often not as confident as they should be in approaching women that may be more attractive than they are.  Looks are only one aspect, and both sexes sometimes fail to consider much else when looking for a partner.  

A few years ago I was sitting a restaurant and overheard the conversation next to me.  There was an older (40s or older), overweight, and unattractive woman with her kids and a friend of hers.  She kept saying to her friend, "why can't I find a man who wants to take care of my kids, has a great job, can pay the bills, is handsome and doesn't just want sex all the time?"  Her friend responded, "yeah, get what you deserve."

You can have a thriving sex industry and yet you can have people committing these crimes because their value system is  not in congruence with the moral code that we as a society have adopted, and have passed laws based on the same code.  For e.g. In some countries infidelity is a crime punishable by capital punishment. In America  it isn't.

Some good points. Probably why some people do stupid stuff believing they won't be able to find anyone else , but their unrealistic expectations are probably their biggest hindrance. Either way there are alternatives to being in toxic relationships - the sex industry for example; companionship when needed.

And my point was that those who end up losing their basic sense of what's right and what's wrong are not oblivious to the fact that there is sex for hire.  They are way too emotionally vested in that person, and it's not going to matter that much, in that moment, for them, how much commercial available sex is out there.  

Commercial sex stop many people from going to jail in more than one ways than one.

I would like to see article from a reputable source that says that commercial sex is cure for deep psychological issues .   Should we include drugs, booze and gambling along side hookers just for good measure?  LOL
