Many browsers had the feature for 2 years or longer. Firefox, Opera and Safari comes to mind for starters.

Allow Microsoft to take over the world.  But this "feature" existed many years ago in Windows 98.  There was a free download called "tweakui" which allowed you to configure it to delete all browser history each time you either logged out or shut down the computer.

There are also third party programs which add this feature also.

But in reference to your proclamation that Microsoft will rule the world, the train for that left a few years ago.  Linux, Mac have taken away market share from Windows over the years.

Microsoft is and was a great investment, but I hardly think a feature to automatically delete browser history will rocket them to the top.

You need to really read that article.. it will still allow POLICE and the government to access the info (according to the article).

Secondly.. Firefox already has the option to delete cookies, history, browsing, passwords, etc.

The only way micro soft will continue to rule the World is with monopolistic tactics that bully people into using their third rate products.  Unfortunately most businesses use Windows so those of us who consult for them are forced to do so and many Universities (including the medical school where I am on the faculty) refuse to service systems other than windows.

relax and try decaf, i really dont think Microsoft will rule the world.
