I came across this YT blog (albeit poor visual quality) of this woman talking about 19 reasons why men seek out prostitutes and I think she does a good job being short and to the point. (She also gets her plug across to decriminalize the profession based on her reasons.)  
   
 With her stated reasons, I’ve seen a lot of the same expressed here by different guys, including the hobby as if it’s commonplace and all are collectors of experiences with providers (Reason number 11) So it is worth a look.  
   
 Also, I found it informative as some of the points do speak to me by either reinforcing reasons I’ve already known and/or by calling ones out that I have not thought about, like not wanting to use a woman just for sex, least to make a commitment. (Hence, better with a provider as it is all upfront).  
   
 For you reading this thread, it might be something else in the combination that speaks to you for seeking out a prostitute, including courtesans and escorts (I’ll add). Yet since nothing stays completely the same and reasons do change or morph into other reasons that also have similarities (she does point out the crossover), then what is your reason— besides carnal desire—that pertain to the emotion and/or ego to get you to seek out  a provider?  (Feel free to come up with different reasons, however unusual.)  
   
 Providers, feel free to express why guys have sought you out?  
   
 (I’ll make note that there are only 18 reasons as she skips number 13. Perhaps superstitious?)
