I travel for a living and find having a fiendship with a provider and going out and doing things together heightens the whole experience.    Going and out and laughing and talking about our lives is as much part of the hobby as the sex.    not all providers like to do that.....but the special ones do..........

Count me out. I have civilian friends for companionship and some of them are very hot. But it's your money and I won't tell you how to spend it. With a couple of providers over the years its turned into friendship and we've gone on outings off the clock (e.g, theater, restaurants). When so many single women are available for such things, why pay for company?

I personally think that people interested in just "busting a nut" make mistake spending GFE rates on 1h appointments.

Min GFE should be 2 - 3h

I just read a post on another thread that got me to thinking.  The comment referred to sessions where the hobbyist wanted companionship as much as wanting a pop.  Many times I fall into that category. I recently took my ATF on a weekend trip.  While we had sex the real turn on for me was being with her both in public and private.  She's an absolutely gorgeous woman so it was an ego trip to be with her in public and in private we had an amazing time both talking and playing.  I am wondering if many providers have clients who want companionship as much as physical activity.  Please give me you thoughts.

And I must admit, I adore them. Takes the sleaze out of the experience. Doesn't mean we don't get down & dirty, wild & crazy mind you. "wink" But when there is a more intimate connection, the pleasure of the experience seems heightened, & much more satisfying.

Because it's not all about a check list, and how long can they last. It's about way more and I love them for it. Nothing against those that hobby or provide differently, you and men like you, are my demographic and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Great post Slowhand74146...I also love spending companionship with them in public and private...I have alot of clients  that love going to clubs/partys with me...It's all about the comfort level of the clients  to do the public things..IMHO

not be able to go out in public because of the descretion factor.  I had an extended date a few years ago where we were supposed to go shopping at a mall but the girl found out her neighbor was going to be at the same mall as we were supposed to visit.  Needless to say, we altered our plans.

One thing I don't do is play in my home city.  Way too much risk.

It's much more exciting and satisfying to have fun with someone you like. The fact that compensation facilitates the encounter..... I have no problem or illusions about that.

I'm too old, ill, ugly, and insufficiently wealthy to be attractive as a BF to a woman I would find attractive.

I am well off enough to be able to afford "compensated dating". So I prefer long encounters with someone enjoyable on many levels.

I think you're hitting the nail on the head.  Whether you're traveling or life's circumstances are such as they are the companionship of a fun, willing, beautiful female enhances our existences.  Seeing providers solely for sex, to me, is missing much of the benefit of the hobby experience.  It takes longer to find providers that understand this concept, but once you do the search is well worth it.  And those providers should be well compensated for that level of service.

Sometimes I book a session all I am looking for is wall to wall wild (for me) sex, nothing more. Other time I have booked sessions only to talk. I have even booked a few sessions with a FS provider just for a massage. She is extremely good at it. Most of the time I am looking for a mix of the above. I book providers that match what I am looking for for that session. I rarely pay to take providers on public outings as I have friends and family for that but I have provider friends that I do public things with off the clock. Everyone is looking for something different in this hobby and that is part of what makes it great. My only problem is what I was looking for when I booked is not what I want when the time comes and I end up with the wrong provider for my mood at the time. I still go through with the session and usually end up having a great time anyway as I am flexible.

I like to take time with a provider to get to know her I feel like it makes it better on both mental and physical level even though the occasional quickie is good too

Gents who prefer longer and more traditional times together are naturally going to be preferred by most ladies. Its a more natural turn of events and makes the naughty time much more satisfying.

But a good old fashioned rough and tumble as a guy walks in the door ain't to bad either if ya know what I mean!

Considering my busy lifestyle with work and all, I have little time for playing the dating game in the civvie world, so the hobby fits quite well into my current lifestyle.  I really enjoy the longer dates which includes dining/entertainment, since I like spending time with the providers that I see.

However, I prefer to do longer dates (i.e. overnighters, multi-days) when I'm traveling, since there's less chance that I'll run into someone that I know while we're out on the town.  I've taken my ATF on vacation with me on a few occasions and we've always had loads of fun, both in and out of bed ...LOL.

If a woman's website and ads are strictly focused on the physical part of a date, then I think the overwhelming number of gentlemen who contact her will just want the physical play.

However when a woman takes away emphasis from the strictly sexual, and portrays more of a whole person - the gentlemen seeking companionship will be attracted to her.

I have always found many gentlemen want a companion, however, I have actively structured my "first impression" to attract such gentlemen, and repel those who would want strictly physical satisfaction.

Human beings have much to share, its a great deal of phone to be with someone who is funny, interesting, has much knowledge to share, experiences to introduce me to (outside the bedroom).  I personally feel that it's a huge benefit to being a professional companion, I have been introduced to books, movies, theater, food, ideas and information I might never have come across on my own or through my personal group of friends.

It makes life very enriching, and it makes the gentlemen very memorable. I much prefer to feel I am spending my time with a friend then a client.

I agree that it makes it so much better for all parties involved when the experienced is 'humanized' on a deeper level. We can agree that this arena is a 'human one', yielding to all things carnal, but subconsciously we learn so much about ourselves, and shown much more about human kind. Going into the arrangement seeking that truth, the exchange of ideas, and actually being glad to know the people you encounter makes 'the exchange' worth it.

But it's understandable that some people cannot cross certain boundaries and still respect the arrangement. Without mentally 'classifying' the persons involved. Without pondering the reality of the experience. It takes a high degree of compartmentalizing and a certain blindness to labels to enjoy one's time and see it for what it is- a good time.
