Got a notice that p411 is changing there service in 2019. Good news is that they will start taking new profiles. Bad news is that they will remove all advertising and turn off search.

When I saw the renewal rates, i.e. About the same for 6 months as I paid for one year before, and considering the reduced functionality, I'm leaning towards not renewing in August.
Well if they're raising rates for providing at least a 50% reduction in services with these changes, I most likely won't be renewing.
P411 just wants to make as much money as possible while assuming as little risk as possible and providing as few benefits as possible. These changes allow them to do that. It is a business.

But the new laws make it easier now for international cooperation to get information from other countries, plus the owners and managers of TER can be indicted for operation of a website that facilitates trafficking, and can also be personally sued.
Though they can challenge these things in court, I can't blame them for not wanting to be a target of all these actions, and therefore don't hold them responsible. It would be nice if the Supreme Court would overturn these awful laws, but don't hold your breath for that now.
It is up to us to find new ways to carry on, though I know it isn't going to be easy.
I was living and working in The Netherlands by 2 years. There the prostitution is legal, so you get your license pay taxes and is ok. Police have an special department to make controls, on Red Light District is easy because they just visit the windows, brothers, clubs, etc. With internet they watch the ads and websites, make a visit as uncover police and discover if it's ok or human traffic. And I give you my word that they are working hard controlling everything.
So if the webmasters want to have their websites working there, is not a problem, because you can make the registration of your company and pay legal taxes. Then if police ask for cooperation to provide info, they will do it, so they cover their backs, and don't have the consequences as Backpage had.
Kinky.nl is the most popular website for escorts there, and they had problems with a girl who was killed, they had to show information to the local police and a few days after they sent us a private e-mail where we agreed to share the information on the website with the authorities if they required it.
Do you not know that there are a lot of other sites still running. One that starts with E just started back up and it's a dog's breakfast. There are plenty of advertising sites, just a lot of people only stay in there own little circles and don't realize it.
Take a look around. TER and P411 were never the be all and end all. They just worked well for a lot of us and we got used to them.
I was turned down in April since they only accepted provider with US passport or green card

With a ton of Okays but not a large list of providers in my area (less and less if they don't start allowing newbie providers in again) it may not be worth it to renew. Just like TER. My sub here was up just post FOSTA madness and other than 1 review for a few days VIP to clean out my remaining PM's, I just come here to browse the boards now, why pay?
Once again, so happy i have lifetime membership in P411. P411 will become more and more useful as other venues die off. Then again, there will probably be many upstarts striving to take over the USA portions of TER.
Starting in Jan. they will not accept ads any more, though they will open up to new members again. The question is, without ads, how useful will they be? You'll have to find an ad on some other site, then use P411 to get her to screen you. Eros is still around but for how long?
Ladies will have to advertise outside of P411 and use P411 as a vetting tool. Advertising on P411 was not that expensive. Now ladies are going to have to spend more money advertising.
Once the other advertising platforms find out about this change trust me they will be raising there rates.
These sites are trying to find ways to stay up and running now and for the future but what real use will they be if you can't find info your looking for. There will be less than a handful of sites left by the ringing in of the new year. Big question in my mind, will google even search for adult websites. We may not be visible other than using a VPN.

While we will be getting smaller in 2019, we'll continue to work hard to stay relevant and useful in the vetting process of both sides. It's my life's work to make this community a little safer for everyone involved, and "advertising" was never one of my favorite parts of P411 (although a catalyst to our growth, no doubt).
I know everyone is curious as to "why" these changes are coming. The reality is the years in this business have been a very stressful, with many different issues cropping up, including the recent US legislation, and it's started to take a toll on my health. I need to take a step back and focus on getting better.

while I wish Gina all the best in dealing with any health issues, just as "Business Communications 101," it's not a good idea telling your customers you "need to take a step back" from a business you expect them to pay for. Not exactly a confidence-builder.

I agree. As far as I'm concerned, Gina has done a hell of a job creating a great tool to play safely with minimum hassle. I hope everyone hangs in there and supports her as she reconfigures.
I find the honestly refreshing. There is so much BS in the world of business and frankly when a company claims one thing usually I assume the opposite is at least being discussed if not likely true. So when I hear a bit of what rings to be true even if it is not exactly good news, I am thankful and more confident in my dealings with said business. Gina has my loyalty exactly because she is frank and honest. If I smell BS I bolt. It is why I quit paying for TER. Too much BS.
I too wish Gina the best of health and a recovery from any health issues she has.
It is taking a toll on many of us these days Gina and i'm sure it isn't any different for you. We do need some kind of authentication so gentlemen know what ladies have been here for some time and safe to see. In the same token without TER I am very lost finding ladies to see if their legit to give references to. We no longer can use a whitelist here as well, so finding a history of hobbiests is becoming an issue for me.
I'm glad the private provider forum is still here on TER but not many are using or posting there.

I love P411 and have been a member for maybe three years.
That being said, the changes coming to P411 will probably cause me not to renew when my membership expires in 2019.
Also, I believe the changes will have a significant financial impact on many, many wonderful ladies.
I hate it for both sides of the community!

Additional updates out on p411 changes. One notable upcoming feature will be the ability of clients to invite non-p411 providers to view client's profile.

The worst thing for me... is that we lose our PM ability on P411. A fair number of girls there use that as the primary means of communication.. also i have a bunch of replies in my inbox.. pre- screening from old and new friends..my plan... WAS.. to hit reply to their response and set something up that way..that will end... I'm planning to note the P411 # of girls I want to see..so at least I have a clue who has prescreened me...
Whichever way the wind blows I'm sticking with P411. Its always been good to me and it will still have some benifits.
Even with the changes as outlined, I see value in the service. 
If this beautiful woman were to be found there, the service would be invaluable.
On a serious note: I really think it is dependent upon how fruitful the site is in your area. For instance... in my area, the site has less than 150 women listed in the entire state. 95% of whom don't meet my criteria, be it by appeal or rate. I haven't fully decided to leave the site, but I will have to think hard as to whether or not it's cost effective.
There are 22 here, not a single one of interest to me. Well, maybe 3 or 4 would interest me if their rates were lower. Most of the rest wouldn't interest me if they were free. 🙁
Unfortunately none of that is because of recent changes. P411 has always had minimal presence or utility here, but it was somewhat handy for checking out visiting providers, and for when I travelled. Now with no ads, no ability to search profiles, and no ability to contact providers or book through the site, it is completely worthless.
Oh wow. That is bad. 150 was for my entire state...not counting D.C. itself. Inside the beltway is just too rich for my blood. Not to mention D.C. is a major pain in the ass traffic and parking wise.
Much similar to your assessment, I find most unappealing, too old, or just rated out of the market for me. I also relied mostly on the visiting ads for possibilities. With the scheduling gone, I wouldn't have any idea if a lady I liked even frequented my area at all... much less when they might be in the area. With the new changes, it will be better suited as a tool for gentlemen who do travel to different areas.
And even the... if the next few months aren't used to store the info of interesting ladies, those men will have trouble using the site as anything other than a verification method.
There is still some value to some people. To many of us there is no value anymore. Even for those of you that still find some value, do you still feel it is worth the rate? Shouldn't reduced services equal reduced rates?
Also with many guys and gals stating their intent to leave, do you still think it will have value for you?
Which was about 5 years ago, so I think I've gotten my money's worth already. The only way it would become useless to me would be if there was a mass exodus of the ladies. The ability to get screened quickly and view the ladies profile are still of value to me.
Yeah, I am kind of bummed that I'll have to find out who's visiting by other means, but once I do, checking their profile and then sending an outside email with my ID for screening is still easy. Sure it was easier sending an appointment request, but using my private email is hardly a burden.
Plus, the ability to back channel on the site is a welcome addition. Solo mis dos centavos.

Yes, but if you cannot use the platform to schedule appointments, then there is no way for P411 to verify that an appointment to place, let alone if you or anyone else was ripped off during an appointment.
Even though you initiate a request from the site today, P411 doesn't verify an appointment is in place today as most of the confirmations happen via email outside the site. All that's going away is the initial contact from the site. You can still report any misdeeds to them as they want to make sure their members on both sides are reputable. So, I fail to see your point.

You could whine all you want, but if they don't have any proof such as that as an appointment was made on their system, then it is very unlikely that they are going to do anything. People can fake e-mails, yada, yada, yada.
Please note that an Appointment Request will become an "Invite to View Profile" sent by the client. A contact WILL come through P411 after the changes but the ensuing booking exchange will take place outside of P411, which is what already occurs 95% of the time.
Also, the new "Invite" will have an expiry (time period set by the client) so that the client profiles will be a little more secure than they are now.
P411 clients will also be able to send an "Invite to View Profile" to non-P411 providers, that will allow her to view a limited version of the profile (and sign up for her own P411 account so she use it in her verification process going forward).
The site isn't going to be the same, that much is obvious. However, it would be foolish to ignore what is going on in the world. We need to adapt and stay focused on our original goal, which was to provide a safer environment in the community. That P411 will no longer be a one stop shop is unfortunate, but we will continue to work to make the community at least a little safer/better than it would be without P411.

You need to factor in the cost of parking in downtown Tokyo and round trip airfare from NY. The shuttle bus alone, from midtown to JFK, is $35.

in six months its likely to be GONE! Don't be naïve. Your lifetime membership, which they have long ago spent the money from, is not worth anything to a failing business. It generates absolutely NO current revenues to fund operations. As they trim back services and features, more recurring members will come to the realization that its no longer useful to them, and they will drop out, further reducing revenues. To compound the problem, my understanding is that they are no longer taking NEW members. There are only two ways to grow a business; get new customers, or get more money out of the customers you have already. P411 is headed in a direction that does neither. I would suggest framing your lifetime membership certificate and in 40 years, it might bring $50 on ebay from guy who collects memorabilia from the glory days of the sex industry in the US.
P411 has more than paid for itself already. Best verification around. They have cut back areas most subject to FOSATA/SESTA. A lot of what you say here is wrong, but I am not publishing info here given to "members only" The true plan is much more optimistic. P411 has always done a great job by me. Nobody should be surprised by what they have done given the legal environment.

Discussing purported p411 plans is probably plausibly deniable. Republishing the letter(s) less so.
But that said, rumors are (wink wink) that p411 will open up to new members sometime in the future.
they want to avoid being the guest of honor at a funeral. New money coming in can keep them alive through these troubling times.
Bottom line is it costs me no additional money to keep using P411. If it did, then I would have a decision to make.
