I've set yet stupid enough to put an exact location like hey here is my address so it's when I do it anyways just a close enough general area.

Just a general area. I refused to use at first until I noticed it wasn't an exact location.

if there's only one apartment complex in the area, or only one motel, it's going to be pretty apparent to LE.

Better to just list a highway exit and leave it at that.

and not too specific, I had one favorite where the location indicated was too close for my comfort, and most likely hers, since she moved shortly afterwards.
