I’m talking about the “Provider Princesses” who go to the trouble of creating nice looking web sites and then ruin the web site with narrative that reeks of attitude.  The kind of attitude I’m talking about is the attitude that infers: “Consider yourself lucky!  I will give you the privilege of making an appointment with me for only $400 an hour (a two hour minimum) plus a generous tip that I expect so that you can give me pleasure.  And by the way before you meet me take a look at the gift section on my web site and pick out something nice to bring with you, but it better be an original or I won’t accept it and I’ll be very hurt and upset.”  In a business that is as personal as this, I would think the objective would be for the lady to present herself in the best possible light in order to get potential clients to call.  It’s as if the Provider Princesses don’t read what they write on their web sites.  From afar, I continue to be amazed at how some providers run their businesses.

Stop thinking about it - it's not worth it. I'm sure most of us guys wish these women would take our business advice and shake our heads at the way they 'leave money on the table.' But it's their sole proprietorship to run or run into the ground as they see fit. In their defense, because of the intimate nature of this 'work' it's probably more difficult for them to dispassionately treat it as a strictly money making venture.

And if they did have the business instincts we do, they probably wouldn't be in this line of work.

When I read your post, my first thought was I wonder if he's in LA? And, based on your reviews, I can presume you are.

Certainly, we have LOTS of lovely ladies in LA, many of whom frequent these boards, BUT what you are describing sounds like ladies who come to LA hoping to be the next Hollywood 'starlet', a porn star or whatever and while they're waiting for that great discovery to happen, they can make some money this way.

Some say 'it's all about the money'. In regards to this type, it's all about THEM.

If you don't like it, then move on.  There are plenty of other fine ladies to choose from.  No point of dwelling on it if you don't like it.  It's the providers business, the providers bodies, and they should be able to run it how they want to, without being criticized.

I'm sure that you may be speaking as a general observation about some of the ladies rather than a specific disappointment.  And if that's the case I agree with you 100%.  There is little if anything that's more important to me than attitude!  Whether from a website or web ad, if there is anything I perceive that causes me to feel a gal is likely has the "princess" attitude I have zero interest in seeing her!  It makes no difference how smokin' hot she may look, how great her reviews might be, or anything else.

That circles this. What you are unaware of - is that exact text relates to it and those who seek it.
Yes its best to move on.
Its not for you.. but those words draw a very specific crowd and that is who is was geared for. Just an FYI

more prevelant than I previously thought. With the ads you cite, it's explicit. By the tone of many of the comments I've been reading it's simply a strong undercurrent. Invisible, yet there nonetheless.

Personally, I'm getting off this Ferris Wheel. I've got a couple of ladies who treat me like a man and like the ladies they are. We have mutual respect for each other and a genuine concern for each other's space and welfare.

I'm really beginning to appreciate more the value in what I have.
I'll save my "blue collar dollars" for them.

Too true! Too funny! I just happen to be surfing around  and found a provider's site that actually had what you descibed....a gift selection section! PLEASE! I felt totally embarrassed just reading it.....thought I was at somebody's bridal shower. As a provider, I'm not looking for someone to buy me gifts, I can do that on my own! I'm here because I choose to be, I enjoy what I do, the people I have met, and the financial gain as well, but please don't buy me gifts! The pleasure, time and monetary benefits are enough.
