When i was in college doing an accelerated program, i was celibate for one year!!!  I considered myself a virgin...lol  Does that count? The first guy i slept with after that i came out of my skin!!!!!!!!  Woo Hoo!  I am not doing that again!

I asked her....soooo??? how do you account for these kids??? and if we never had sex, and they are not mine.... not gonna get a dime of child support with that claim....  calmer, more rational talks progressed.....

but I've heard of this.... there are folks who just deny the sexual nature of human types.

What about the ones who really go through hassle of keeping their chastity, celibacy and virginity? Now, I call them "perverts," or "carnally challenged," but can't they at least have the well deserved all encompassing booby prize of "virgin?" too? I mean, at a minimum, just to warn other people . . .

I guess we could call the new class of virginal wannabe's "virgins with regrets."

Do they refer to their first time as the "first time" anymore? Or is that "time zero?" Or "time negative 40" for a woman with a lot of regrets? Or is it now just a realistic wet-dream?

I really thought in the '70s that virginity would fade as a concept. I know now it will never happen. Having sex the first time feels too significant no matter how it happens.

But assigning it an exalted spiritual significance, and then removing it from its physical fact-- it's like masturbating forever in pursuit of the unobtainable orgasm.

I'm surprised the Bush administration hasn't jumped on this with a bold, sweeping government plan to re-viginificate America.

I thought it was going to be about hymen restoration.

That was a big deal about twenty years ago or so.

Now, they've come up with an even easier method.
