"I am not a prostitute."

Quite a few women on sugar dating sites say this or something similar (e.g. "If you're looking for an escort, please leave this page", etc. etc.) on their profiles. I find this funny for a couple of reasons. One is that some of them are, in fact, professional hookers. And two, by definition, a prostitute is "a person, typically a woman, who engages in sexual activity for payment," which is exactly what they're doing. LOL.

In this case place in their ads. I was looking through an ad site to day, and there was a message on one lady's ad that said...

"I don't discuss services over the phone or in person"

Really? You don't discuss services in person? Good luck getting any business that way

A bunch of theses disclaimers get providers in trouble, just as there are legit woman who are offering their services and need not discuss them until they are sure the client isn't law enforcement, there are a ton of woman who rip clients off.

I always find this statement kind of rip-off-ish: Your donation is for my time and my time only.

You can search the rip off section of TER or just look up and down your local BP board and see that some woman actually mean that! No FS. So i guess we are just supposed to talk and play Yahtzee for an hour

It's either on a pop-up page, or the front page of her site.  Some include such statements on their ads too.

Some SBs really do feel there's a difference between what they're doing, and what the typical escort offers.

As to the escort/SBs who state this?  Could be because they're offering (and hoping to find) something different when they're advertising as an SB vs. as an escort.  Or they simply feel better putting a  "legal disclaimer" out there.

Or legal disclaimers are only to avoid legal consequences.

Could be. Maybe SB hopes having 2-3 SD verses escort seeing numerous. GFE vs. SB level of service are quite the same. with the exception that SB/SD relationships have the potential to develop long-term connections seeing one another quite often and regularly. They are all essentially the same with minor differences. A beneficial exchanged relationship with different name calling. To each their own.

True. But if there's a need , there should be supply. The day that prostitutes don't exist anymore is the day men don't hobby or see prostitutes anymore. If we are really honest to ourselves and others, women who married for money are in fact another form of prostitutes. It could be disguised under the marriage contract or divorce alimony. It could be disguised among the things purchased calling it as "gifts of affection". Under the pretense of "feelings or love." Unless a woman is compensated for her lost time and youth investing in her family and children without the intentions of marrying into money. Having had total financial independence from her husband or shared equal responsibility.

Life happens and people go through things or make choices to fit whatever situations or needs they have. There's no justification, defending, and the term "prostitute" is no longer so degrading (given how most react to this term) as one becomes brazen-faced and honest to oneself. To deny doesn't change truths. They are still far from that place of "truths" where the first step is being honest to yourself.

I've been in the Sugar Bowl for almost as long as I've done internet mongering. Hookers make terrible SBs for a variety of reasons. The hookers want to trick SDs into believing that they are college co-eds or fully employed single moms. Experienced mongers can spot the hookers and hustlers a mile away 99% of the time. Still, before making a monthly commitment for an arrangement have a PI check them out to be sure.

Provide for family, not paying her shopping bills, etc..
Of course she suppose to work and make her own money..
But as Sophie Loren said -
Even if my toilet will be from pure gold - man has to spend money on woman.

Re read or just may be read a book
" Prostitution in Third Reich "
All women were treated as a prostitutes in Germany of that time
I always say fascism is on the rise on states and you are prove to that
Instead of recognizing woman role in this world and her limitations ( of course femenists would say - no limitations for women - that is not a true - woman's brain wired differently
Responsibility of strongest half of humanity - males - to protect her and care about her.
You have here the best possible women and you call them how? Providers.. hookers... prostitutes - it is how you want call all women because you hate them?
Pathetic males then.
Just good to know that most of gentlemen here would not relate to that kind of language
( but again - patriotic Germans also never believed that fascism is possible in Germany

It's nice to know that some things never change.

with free expression and I particularly always do mention about myself as  conservative  person .
Intellectual deprivation is very common in third world countries
When I moved to states I did not have idea about social, cultural and intellectual under development of 95 percent of population
Every nation deserved it's fate..
C' est la vie..
I am glad to belong only to 1 percent of females and to meet only 5 percent of males - and those are NOT fixed or fixated.
Have fun people within your boundaries - it takes intellect and character to move a bit your boundaries and learn new - by the way - learning prevents ED :)
That fact is true for every male ESPECIALLY for those who can be found here :y

I am gone with the fun now..
To the world  where your never have been.. :) I wish you may ..

Some ladies are looking to meet one Daddy, and one Daddy only.

And once they land that Daddy, some don't even plan to date outside of the arrangement.

At least half of the young ladies I meet won't put out on first meet. I have even had some babies ask for / demand my exclusivity to them. To which I will typically reply with either mild snickers or all-out belly laughter. But nonetheless, if the girl was just amazing and floored me ... I could imagine myself agreeing to this.

So obviously by technical definition, this might be prostitution. But there is a lot of room for grey area here.

Almost every woman writes "I'm not here for a hookup" or "Not seeking hookups" or "If you're looking for a hookup, swipe left." This, on a site known to be a hookup site. That's like walking into a brewery and saying you're not there for the beer. Then why are you there?
