I haven't seen anything new on the 8/5 post (on the Chicago board) about Talaya who was "no longer interested in life".

Anyone know if she's OK?

Well, she is still with us, but in very bad shape.  She is talking to the ladies debating on whether or not to go through with it.  She is scared to though. A wonderful thing in my eyes.  

We are trying to get her to come to DC and stay with one of us for the time being until she can get through this.  Nothing so far, but we are trying to reason with her.

I feel something horrible has happened to her.  I don't think it is biz related though, for that is what she has stated.

Hopefully she will take the hand of one of us that is reaching out to her and find her way back to some even ground.  

Prayers, rain dances, anything would help right now.  This is a critical time.

Just let her know that our preyers and good vives are all going to her. I hope she can see that there is a light in the tunnel she is in right now. My best wishes to her.

I am still here, but I am not completely up to par. I still don't know what I am going to do really. I have decided to take one day at a time, but I still am not sure of the direction of my life. I'm still uninterested in life, but I will try to hang on so I can figure out what to do. This week was hard to get through, but I did have a good friend helping me. I am seriously considering going to D.C. like one of the ladies said, I am just moping here in Chicago. The board where the D.C. info was is down, so if any of the ladies who invited me are here on this board, please email me.

I would have never guessed that this has happened to you Nicole.  We've never met but I have talked to you several times on the phone (years ago it seems) and you always sounded so positive.  I guess you just never know how people are hurting sometimes, but I'm glad to hear you're all better now!

It may be right for you to go to DC, but you have this close friend in Chi-town who cares and has the time to talk. Mope near the 'friendly confines' before heading out of town. In a stressed out state (been there, done that), you do not need to more unknowns?

we have never met, but i'm sure to see that you are still with us. Take all the time you need to sort out your feelings , and let the people reaching out to you help. It's theraputic for them also. It took a lot of courage to reach out so you're stronger than you think. We all have dark days , there's always sunshine after the rain. Whatever your spiritual beliefs in life know that your Guardian Angel is there to comfort and protect you. If you don't believe me just trying talking to him or her and ask for what you need. I believe everyone's concern for you on this board is currently shining a very bright light on you. Because LOVE is the cure. And Yes, I have also been where you are.

Many of us have gone through these types of trials and troubles of our own, and have found that surviving them makes us stronger. So many of us want you to survive them, and find happiness, as we have.

dear Talaya we have never met, I like many of those who are
reaching out to you have been there and done that, if I can
offer any help to you let me say this first, you have made
a very big step toward overcoming your pain just because you
have made your pain known to others, You really don't want to
check out of life you just want to find a way to stop the pain
that life seems to dish out at times, please continue to talk
about your pain and allow yourself to share that pain with us
and allow yourself to feel some of the love that can flow from
others without any strings attached, and above all don't feel
guilty for feeling the pain that you feel, look in the mirror
and tell yourself that you are a wonderful person, and allow
yourself to beleive that you are Wonderful. if you don't allow
yourself to feel worth it then no matter what I say it won't
mean any thing at all unless you allow yourself to beleive in
You! I can speak from expericnce about the pain of depression
I had attempted to end my life 3 different times over my 49
years because of the unbearable pain, I was hospitalized most
recently a year ago for my depression, I am doing o.k. now
with thanks to some very caring people,  I still have my up and
down days just as any one else. I just want you to know that
you are not alone and there are those of us who do understand.
and we do care, so continue to talk to us and don't let go of
us. You are who you are and that is what is so neat about you!
You are worth it for you to give to You what you need most, LOVE
for you from your own heart just for YOU! and it won't hurt you
to accept the love of others during these trying times.
