It's a different thing. I go sometimes just to knock back a few drinks and watch the girls dance. I'm not looking for it to be as satisfying as time with a provider so I enjoy it for what it is.

There are many reasons...

For the sake of total disclosure, I do not patronize strip clubs and have not done so for at least 7-8 years, but I can think of many reasons as to why people do:

1- It is legal to go to a strip joint while The Hobby is illegal!

2- Many people who are in a relationship do NOT consider going to strip joints as cheating on their partners (a gray area there), whereas Hobbying is definitely cheating if one is in a "relationship"!

3- A lot of people go to strip clubs with their buddies to socialize, to drink and to hang out, but in the Hobby, you rarely get buds engaged in group sex or gang-bangs!

4- There is very minimal risk to catch a STD by visiting a strip club and that risk amplifies may, many fold when one Hobbys!

5- Many people do not know that Hobby even exists in this format (unlike the typical street-walkers, lot lizard, etc which portray a very negative connotation to the masses), but almost every adult with an IQ of over 50 knows about strip clubs!

I just strung out the above reasons quickly to highlight some very basic differences, but I am a Hobbyist who is not into frequenting strip clubs, so please do not

They had an apartment for the feature entertainer of the week in my complex. The parking spot was right infront of my apartment.

I haven't been to a club in a long time but when I used to go it was not for hobbying, it was to see the pretty girls dance, chat with some of them over expensive glasses of colored water ("Would you like to buy the lady a drink?"), relax and sometimes it did get me hornier.

As good as they smell all perfumed up when you're there, it was the perfumery and other odors (tobacco and booze) that drove me away. Even after just a few minutes in some clubs, you can reek of perfume for hours after and need a shower and change of clothes.

Most girls I see now know that being freshly showered with mild scents can be far more appealing and arousing than covering up grime and BO with perfume.

I still go to strip clubs because I like the environment.  Beautiful naked women smiling and squatting…etc.

I don’t expect to get anything more than the view, and don’t waste any money trying.  I never leave disappointed that I didn’t get anything, because I was not looking for anything physical when I went in.

Maybe it’s because I have been going to strip clubs regularly for 20+ years before I started the hobby?  I just feel comfortable and relaxed when I’m there.  I drink my beer and tip the waitress, but have never in my life paid for a no-touch lap dance**.  Wasteful spending as you say.  I’ll spend less than $100 and have very sweet dreams that night.

** In the early 90’s I regularly went to Florida and would spend hours in clubs there buying $5 “full grind” lap-dances.  Those were the best years of my life!

I used to go strip clubs, drop 2 or 3 bills on drinks and private dances.  I had a few dates too, but since finding the Hobby, my strip club money goes right to a sure thing with no BS attached; Super hot chick paying plenty of attention to Richard!  Rock on Hobbiests!

Still going after 15 years mainly because I know what to expect.  Most of the time its a waste of money but a couple hours of fun is a couple yours of fun.  If I wasnt getting action, there was always a amp close buy.  Nothing like a sauna, table shower a massage and a good pounding for $$. I watched the boards and read reviews for a long time as it made me nervous to go to someones incall.  Finally took the plunge this year and realized how stupid I was being.  Cheaper better and a lot more private.  Of course there is a thrill about fucking or getting a blow job in a club.  I stopped in for a drink at  a club that i do not frequent the first thing the bartender wants is a drink even be fore i get mine.  I look at the dancer next to me and say I know I should have called a hooker.  She says want my number?
Sex is not a good reason to go to a club. But I can have fun there also.   At My regular stop the bartender hooks me up pretty good with the drinks so its not like i pay Disney prices.

funny you mention this..I whent to  a strip club last year around november..Showed up about amonth later and became firends with this dancer..She knew I was married and she told me sha had a SO.

We chat on face book on and off for a few months..Well she breaks it of with her SO..We stay firends for about a year..

Well, if you try the more upmarket clubs around here, negociate up front with the right girl, you can end up with a HJ for the price of a 15 min private lapdance.

Cheaper than hobbying ?  Yes.
Cheaper per hour ?  Hell no.
Technically cheating ?  Yes.... but "Honey, I was just at a SC" will be more forgivable than "I was hobbying with my ATF".

Often it is just a risk/reward/cost tradeoff and a SC can be competitive (with the right girl).

The best reason to go to a strip club is that if you go to the right one, it's a great place to find new SP's.  Bogart's Lounge in Inkster, MI (between Detroit and the Detroit airport) is basically just a glorified brothel.  Prices there vary depending on the girl, but I've had great luck finding SP's willing to meet up outside of the club and that way you know what you're getting and you know you aren't getting ripped off or arrested.

This is about all I do at stripclubs and just talk to the beautifull women.
