This was a first for me I must admit. Here's the dealio...

Last night I sent out my weekly offers as I typically do on Tuesdays so as to not interfere with my upcoming Monday Night Football watching.

Lo and behold, two of the three young hotties responded with a yes to my initial offer, with no haggling whatsoever, which doesn't always happen but has become the norm since the AM incident and other things in the news lately causing hookers to cut rates and negotiate more, as you all know.

Problem is, much like American Airlines, I overbooked my capacity, as they both agreed to meet me on the same date at the same time. Oops.

Now, what would the experienced gals prefer? Should I contact one and give her my next available slot to be with Jack or do I perform a double header, one honey right after the first? Or just make it into a threesome?

See, you ladies aren't the only ones with tough decisions. I mean, when you bump a previously scheduled guy for a regular with a fatter envelope, what do you tell them?

I think that honesty is usually the best policy but might a white lie be better here?

Hookers, johns, your thoughts?

With competing yet equal offers on the table, you continue to negotiate.

And offering the next available slot seems far preferable to all involved than trying for a double header. But I particularly like the threesome idea!

As long as you're prompt in your response to reschedule or otherwise, who could take issue? But I've never bumped a client, so maybe I'm too green to give a proper response?

This has happened to me before, by accident though, not intentionally overbooking.  I apologized profusely, explained what happened and asked to reschedule.  I think guys who know me realize that I'm pretty busy/disorganized and hopefully they forgive me.  I apologized to one friend for being flaky and he said we'll just call you eccentric.

Anyway, I've never bumped a guy for someone else.  In the instances above (yes, plural, ugh) I went by timestamp in choosing who to see.  Maybe you should go with the first to respond?  Draw straws?

I understand Rasha's point economically, but personally I think if a guy was trying to negotiate me down after I'd accepted an offer it would be a turnoff.  That's just me though.

I don't take 12 hours to respond (lucky if it takes me an hour) so if he plans on contacting 3 other people at the same time, he should go with one of them as I can't just fit someone in on short notice.

I did honesty once in a situation similar to the one described, and things went to hell real fast. Still haunts me today.

Personally, I couldn't care less if you saw another provider directly before me.  As long as your hygiene is impeccable, your envelope is correct, and you aren't late on account of your earlier appointment, what you do before and after we meet is none of my business or concern.  

Just as I don't particularly care if you tell me the truth about why you're canceling or looking to reschedule. If you decide to go with the other provider who you double booked with, a simple, "I apologize, but I had some last minute changes to my schedule. Think we can reschedule?" always works.  And if rescheduling isn't possible, all you really need to say is, "Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to make our appointment.  So sorry to have to cancel."  You're a client, not my boyfriend.  You don't have to explain anything to me lol.

The only thing that matters is that you have the decency to let me know with as much notice as possible.  No one likes a last minute cancellation
