Of the hazards of incall vs outcall. It would seem that busting johns at an incall location would be less efficient than what LE could net with a streetwalker sting, but of course the possibility exists. Anyone know how often this is done as opposed to busting a string of outcall girls at a central hotel location? Particuarly interested in the practice in So Cal? Any idea how this is handled here? What you can expect if arrested?
I think it's interesting that when people play rough sports, they usually have the right protective gear - helmets, kidney belts, knee and elbow pads, chin guards, etc.
When people drive a car, they usually wear seat belts, and have car insurance.

You made an assumption that the undercover female was posing as an incall escort. More than likely she posed as a street walker and when the guy propositioned her, she directed him to the motel room where once inside, he was greeted by Joe Friday.
I've watched these stings on COPS and other reality based police shows. My suggestion is to watch these shows more often, LE gives away many of their tactics.
This really doesn't surprise me. Back when Ronald Reagan declared a "WAR on drugs" asset forfiture was introduced into our dictionary and law to help the fight by taking things of value away from the "drug kin-pins". Now asset forfiture is used to take the car from a guy crusing for a SW, and it will soon be used to battle "illegal dumping". The summary executing of suspected hobbyists is only a natural progression of the police state that Government ultimately wishes to have over us.
I know I sound a bit "over the top" on this, but if you look at the historical progression of increased police powers and decreased civil liberties and privacy issues (what's on your computer hard drive???) I may not sound all that kooky.
