No offence, I am just curious that people here are not afraid of STD or AIDS? Of course, I am scared by them, I used to addict to this industry, I think I am too young, now I realized that it is the time to stop doing this, I just do not want to ruin my life or regret for the rest of my life, anyone comments?

He'll be taking over the boards.

To answer the OP, yes! That's why VD testing is crucial.

Xoxo.

P.S. You can get STD's from a civvie too... ;)

english as a second language is not good for proselytizing.  learn some grammar and spelling before you get on your soapbox.

he has been here for 15 minutes and he is telling us how to live. go bury your head in the sand.

let me teach you something about your new home, no one gives a shit what you think.

you have the freedom to say what you think but no one cares.

and unlike whatever far away land you came from we don't get scared from bogey man.

i guess you don't get the aids bangin a sheep unless your uncle banged the sheep and he got the aids because your aunt fucked the mailman who is gay and your uncle gave the sheep that you like best the aids. so nothing is really safe is it.

The best you can do is minimize it. If you engage is riskier practices, then you can increase the chance of picking something up.
After a while STD's are not much more then an afterthought. In other words, while it's always in the back of my mind, it is not something that weighs heavily on my mind.

If you are overwhelmed by the thoughts you have alternatives. You can see massage providers and skip the FS.

It depends on how you think you are avoiding those things.

If you are afraid of STDs, seeing providers is way safer than seeing civilians.  Providers may sleep with more people (may) but they are far more careful, and generally get tested pretty often.  They also are far more likely to use protection 100% of the time even in personal relationships, and know far better what to look for on someone physically that may be an STD and avoid contact if they see signs...

Basically, if you want to have sex at all providers are the safest possible approach by a wide margin.

If you are saying you are so afraid of STD's you will have no sex whatsoever, I would say that's a shame but it's your life.  But if you live your life avoiding all risk, you avoid life itself.  Who wants to live as a shadow

I am less effected by HIV+ clients than I am effected by HIV+ close friends in my personal life.
Two of my friends from my personal life are HIV+.
They are both in the "queer community" + they are not "sex workers."
They have both been HIV+ for over five years.

I have given a lot of thought to STD transmission.
I do not want to have children, so that minimizes my fear of certain STD's, which are curable, but cause sterility.
Honestly, the STD's that scare me, personally, the most, are : HEP C + HIV
However, both of these STD's are transmitted primarily through : BBFS + sharing IV needles
I never do either of those practices EVER.

Condoms work !!! + they have saved many gay men since the 80's !!! + they really do work !!!
