This weekend, I was again reminded of why we get married, why we have kids, and most importantly why intimate contact with another human bean is important.

Over the past 4 days, I have had gread ups and downs with my kids, great ups and downs with those I work and have worked closely with, but I was also out with two great ladies, one is trying to start a singing/acting career...  she has an incredible voice...  the other simply wishes to be in the limelight of someone who "makes it"  (OH, and from her performance - she was offered another gig by someone in the audience!  can't ask for better than that!)

Watching others try their best, my kids, co-workers and friends....   and having a bit of success.... well - what else can ya ask for...
