Please don't call me honey, baby, sweetie or anything else that indicates you have no idea who I am after I've seen you several times. This is usually for communicating between meets. That can kill the illusion. If I'm booking you for a 3rd+ time I probably felt we had a good time and that reply kills it. I have and you know my first name.

...to just tell all of this to the lady you're referring to? Being vague on the internet probably isn't going to help her get the message.

Would that be fair she's catching up on her reading while you're daty? What if you file a restraining order against her,  would you be able to perform this " light reading daty"?    

Why in the world did you tell her your real first name?  And I could care less if she calls me "honey," "sweetie" or anything else as long as she otherwise puts on a convincing show.

She calls you honey, baby, sweetie or anything else that indicates she has no idea who you are because she does not want to call you someone else's name.   That might kill your illusion.  

Actually not a problem I've run into much but I sure hear about it.....Thats why it's a PSA. :

First of it's "They're" not their and low not loe. As for names. If you've seen someome a few times I don't have a problem with first names (in fact I know a few ladies full names) but it's a nice touch when they actually remember  who the hell you are. Especially if you've dropped several K's their way.

That doesn't bother me in the least because I am probably calling her the same thing. Now the acting part I can relate to. That does get on my nerves as does an unkempt setting.

I don't even mind acting as long as it is reasonably good acting.  Some gals could use a class or two at the Actors' Workshop.

I went to one meeting, and she was running late. I called her, and she  apparently hadn't gotten around to looking up my name. She just asked if I was her "1:00".

that sounds abysmal - and I've very very rarely experienced anything like it -

"Lover--" a guy who's going to be clingy and a pest, possibly a stalker.
"Sweetheart--" over the hill, but nice and easily manipulated. And easily impressed.
"Cutie--" A guy who lies, cheats, and inflates his place in the scheme of things to impress you. Needs his ego sucked off frequently.

I don't mind being called "honey, baby, sweetie or anything else..." Sure it can sound phoney at times, especially for a first timer but the way I see it it's the thought that counts. It CONVEYS that the girl is at least, TRYING to be warm, nice and friendly.

Obiviously as the line goes "She's not that into you.."

The dirty tricks don't read it or don't care. I agree tell HER.

Tricks are for kids.

if they don't get my name....   with a rising inflection on the last syllable....   but if they have hardly any English they usually ask my name and use it - which I consider very polite -

None others come to mind. I don't think "honey" had evolved into any kind of code. It has to be a word that fits easily into conversation when referring to someone in the the third person. "Do you know Sam? He's a sweetheart." That kind of thing.

P.S. If you tell me how to book my day, pay for the entire day.
