I have! But not by a client...but a very successful restaurant owner that wanted to pursue me! The only thing that turned out real about him was his wallet & phone number LOL!  

SO...

I met this guy at HIS restaurant for a dinner date. I had a feeling it'd be someone else there when i showed up because  his accent didn't match the photos he sent me! I mean he didn't look remotely close to his photos! Complexion.. height...build...NOTHING!  

And get this...!!!

His LOVE PISTOL was a cat fish, too!!! Oh the agony! LOL!
If you have the audacity to send a d-pic, at LEAST let it be yours!  Hahaha

OK, Gotcha, Since I haven't messed around with any of the "social media" until just recently, I'd never heard of it. Hey, I'm 83 years old with a short term memory problem, lol. The protection being to big is a bit sad though:(.  
      Better luck next time! You could try pics with a paper and that days date written on it or your name. Hard to fake those.

...Some more honest here than anywhere else.  One might say their home lives are where the "catfishing"/fake selves exist.  

As for the providers, it's tricky bc we may provide ads and pics, but guys write the reviews, some of which catfish the girls more than any ad. Lol

Anonymity seems shady and conducive to deception, but I'm far more open here as an alias than I would be under a work handle.

Tons of emails and phone conversation.  He always sent pics of himself with a  group and would say he is the cute bald guy.  There were two bald guys in every picture.  I assumed he was the cute one.  NOOOOOOOOO  total  goof.  Like such a clown I was mortified to be seen with him in public.  Yuck I'm getting skeeved out just thinking about this guy.  Ewwwweeee

by this chick that I was talking to on twitter for 3 years. The story broke right after the Manti Teo story so it was kind of a big deal if you were local because she was also catfishing players from the Washington Redskins during that time. I never met "her" (there'd always be a lame excuse) but she did give me 2 pairs of Redskins tix and Paypal'd me $50 bucks so I'm not too hung up over it

Lmao I'll speak on my post only. The term "catfish" refers to a person that is NOT WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE. For instance, the guy that catfished me sent me photos of someone that was not him. So when i say i was catfished, i am saying that i was fooled or scammed into thinking the guy that i met was the guy in the photos.  

Why they chose to call is "catfish" i have no idea! But also check the link below! Numbers 3 and 4 are pretty helpful!
