All my shoots take place in hotels.   Why?  Because I like to be shown in my natural habitat.  

 
Yes, I often spring for nicer suites but sometimes (like my most recent shoot) I just use my accrued points in that hotel chain's rewards program to get a free room in an upscale hotel.

I guess that just proves I've never been in a greater than 3 star hotel and wouldn't recognize the opulence. .  

By the way, I was glad I got to meet you a few years back when I as driving from Minneapolis to New York.

to other cities will get luxury hotels or spring for kick ass condos or houses to shoot in. A few travel to locations out of the country. I know Santillo does that.

I've noticed:

Vdara Suites - They have an upscale condo look & feel.
Aria Penthouse Panoramic Suite - This is a a very large one bedroom suite with a huge brown corner pillar and lots of empty space. Cool table decorations too.
Encore Salon Suite - The mirror on the ceiling in the living room makes for some interesting shots.

... it's a little luck and sometimes it's all about who you know.  

 
But I really wished I knew some of those billionaires and movie stars! (lol)
