I call three providers... only one calls me back,.... but she is busy....!!!!  here lately getting an appointment with a provider is like... well, um.... getting a civie date! lol!!!  What gives!???  is there something I am unaware of?!

I'm new to this but your pain struck a chord. I have the same experience.  At least you're batting .300 -  I call 5 providers and got zero responses in two days. They're all independents, if it makes a difference.  I have a normal, professional speaking voice and dont state anything questionable on the voicemail that may raise flags.

Well, last minute appts aren't always easy. I'm assuming from your post that you are calling today for a date today??  Of course she's busy darling!!

That just means your "to do" list needs to be larger.

My "getting in the mood" to see a provider is quite time consuming in itself.  I first spend hours online, popped dick pills earlier in the morning, shower, shave, more searching online, THEN, I start going down my list of 7 or 8 massage girls, TS's and regular escorts that I desire to see. I run down the list and call them one by one till one answers the phone and is ready to see me NOW. (or with in a half hour to an hour)  I am in the mood NOW, not 4 hours from now, not tomorrow and not 3 days from now.

Unless you call an agency.  I did get lucky a couple of months ago with a great gal but it was only because she had a cancellation. Any woman that is worth seeing and has been around for a while will almost always be tough to book with at the last minute.

I've had similar problems recently even with 3-4 days or more advance notice. I'm glad to hear it's not just me.

It makes one long for the Massage parlor days of yore.Sadly in Minneapolis where I live, they no longer exist.At least ones you'd feel safe visiting.The days of, as I like to refer to them, "sperm of the moment" dates are all but gone.

I am also hearing this in Florida.  Could it be that the TER reviews have become such a big part of the hobbyist selection process that now we have created a two tiered group of providers?  

It seems the most highly rated ladies (and most expensive) continue to be very busy while the remainder of the ladies are experiencing some slow times?  Or, could it be that perhaps the guys who see them are less effected by financial constraints than others?

I have seen more posts by guys the last month talking about "budget" constraints, etc., than I have seen the last six to eight months combined.

on the few occasions that I've had a problem, has gone the other way. I tend to plan way in advance, and it's bitten me on the ass a couple of times. That's when I have to call and say, "Hi, I'm the asshole that booked with you a very long time ago, but my trip has been postponed, can we re-schedule?"

well I usually try to do it in advance, but there are days that I have strong feelings...

several ladies I have been talking to have complained that there have been a very much higher occurance of cancellations of late.
One, told me she had 4 out of 5 cancel on her this week alone.

Maybe, part of it is it's tax time and no extra money all of a sudden, but that's really no excuse.

As far as your issue, I don't know. Maybe just a case of bad timing.

My time is precious and I hate to waste an opportunity and trust it to the unknown.

I know some guys have a hard time with it, but I find that it works well and the gals like it too.

On the rare occasion a gal does cancel, there are a few MP's that I can rely on if I want.

IMO - Many times, it is the fault of the John.  he gets his heart set on seeing this one specific girl.  I don't know about other parts of the country, but in south Florida, there is such an over abundance of escorts that a John can have his pick of the litter on every level of which escort he desires to see.  There are literally 100's of agencies with 10 to 40 girls in each agency ranging in price from $140 to $500 per hour.

There are dozens of massage parlors where you can get a professional shiatsu massage, steam saunna, body scrub, walk on the back, happy ending, the whole shebang for $60 half hour or $80 an hour. (and an hour is really an hour and a half)

On local review sites, there are hundreds of slender and pretty escorts from age 18 to mid 40's for $100 to $250. (most between $100 and $200)

We have local places in Fort Lauderdale where a guy can get a 15 minute slam bam thank you mam CBJ and covered full service via a decently attractive latin girl between age 20 and mid 30's for $30.  The MOST you are allowed to tip is $5 or $10.

So honestly, for you guys to put a girl on a pedistal and say " Any woman that is worth seeing and has been around for a while will almost always be tough to book with at the last minute.".  I hear ya, but I just do not see it.

IMO, if a man REALLY thinks he has to spend $1,000 to be with a quality woman for a few hours, it is his own fault and he self created the delemma he is in.

Maybe in other parts of the country, pickins are slim, but here there are literally thousands of TS, massage and escorts in the $60 to $200 range, thousands!  The ONLY reason a man has to wait for pussy or to spend more than $200, is to satisfy his own ego or similar reasons.  Especially in this recession economy.  Just about every industry is feeling it.  Locally, escorts who were seeking $300 six months ago are now advertising for $200.  That's just the way things are.

I have the end of the semester coming up and am busy procrastinating writing my 3 final papers and occasionally working on them (damn procrastination!!!) Aside from that, I'm planning my summer internship stuff (bye bye L.A.) and trying to keep up with my family and social commitments as well. Hence, I haven't been around much and the emails are piling up. EEK. Once I get at least one of these papers finished, my stress level will go down and I'll feel more like it's a normal week again, honestly.

If you go the indy route, you have to plan days in advance.  Most if not all nowadays want references that they can check out.  

If you're that anxious to play, call an agency.  Especially if it is a good one, someone will always be available a few hours later.

I stick to my regular madam, who usually has 3-4 ladies available.  One I am bound to like,  I walk in an hour later.

Of course, I would love to schedule weeks in advance since I'm a busy guy, but it doesn't always operate that way.  Some girls prefer to schedule on short notice and do not like to commit so far in advance and things change for them quickly.  Unfortunately for me, some of my all time favorites operate more like this than like a corporate banker who is strict on time.  Many girls fit this around their lifestyle rather than see this as a professional career so it's not always possible.  I've come to accept that I just won't always get to see who I want when I want to.  I do not have backups because usually I just want to see who I feel like seeing and not really settling for any person that happens to be available.  If not available, I just move onto what other plans I have for the day.

Y'all I can totally relate to what you are saying. When you are in the mood you are in the mood and it is sometimes hard to pre-plan.

In an effort to manage screening and safety issues I do try be accommodating as possible however it can can sometimes be difficult to screen people.

hair  1.5  hours
hit the store to get condoms 1 hour

It is very useful hearing the various views in this thread. No doubt scheduling issues are part of the territory & frustrating for both hobbyists & providers.

I too know of a madam that I can call & be seen the same day. However, there are also many interesting providers that one would like to visit.
