What would you do if you submitted your review with your ratings or scores and TER changed one or more of the scores and then posted ... and then when you contacted TER about the reviews they indicated that they would not change any of the scores because once a review posts there are no changes?

on the part about a score can’t be changed once a review is posted.  I know from recent experience that’s not true.

 
As for what would happen if TER changed a score on one of my reviews... that happened at least once to me, several years ago.  I contacted Admin and explained how my score was justified based on what my review said about services delivered, and they reinstated my score.  

 
I have found over the years that actions by Admin can sometimes be... inconsistent.  We’re dealing here with the variability inherent in human behavior.  But I’ve also found that if I’m persistent and have the facts on my side, they almost always make the right decision in the end.

I have written over a hundred reviews and didn't think that TER operated this way.  But this recently happened to me.  Previously, if I submitted a review and TER felt that the narrative did not support the rating they would kick it back to me and let me decide where to go from here vs. unilaterally deciding to lower a score and then not changing anything after posting.  A few years back when I wanted to change a review (for a different reason) TER just opened it up and kicked it back, but when I asked this time I received a hard no.

I also have seen before when TER would say the narrative and the sore were not lined up and they just rejected it for an edit. But that was under the old management.

 
At the end of the day, once you click the submit button the review is no longer your review, but TER's review. Certainly as a customer you can ask both why and disagree with the take but TER is really under no obligation to do anything for you. Bad customer relationship behavior but ...

It's a review board and don't look at just one review to see or not the lady. I look to consistent reviews from those who have a history and gravatis.

What if you wrote a 10/10 review on your ATF and TER posted a 10/8 review, which hurt her?

First, let me draw your attention to Rule 8 on submitting a review:
"8.  In order to keep our overall performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she performs one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. For each of these services that are performed, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum. Remember, it’s your review; within these guidelines you still get to decide what her score should be. You do not have to give her the ‘extra point’."

 
A provider (whether she's an escort, a masseuse or a Domme, is entitled to a 7 as a maximum score.  However, if she provides ANY of the "enhancements" listed, she can earn an extra point for each one.  So if you submit a score of 10, but the narrative of "Juicy Details" does not support the score of 10, the mods will reduce the score to be consistent with the narrative.  The max score on MOST of the girls I see is a 9, because they will provide DFK (kisses with tongue) and BBBJ, but they do not offer Anal, or  more than one guy during the session, and the session is not a double (MFF).  

 
This  is why its incumbent on the reviewer to make sure that he accurately describes ALL of the services that he received so that the provider gets the maximum  score she is entitled  to, IF YOU WERE INTENDING to give her all of the points she qualifies for.  As the rule says, even if her max score is a 9, if it was lacking you can still give her a 7.  The reason that they won't let you amend the score is so reviewers don't ADD substance to the narrative that didn't really happen in order to give her a higher score.  That would defeat the whole purpose of reviewing.  

in that case, tell her to get over it. Fixation on 9s and 10s, both by providers and mongers is a major contributing factor in provider's revolt again review culture.

This happened to me earlier last year.  I left a review for a traveling provider = 9/9. It was dropped to a 9/8 by the admins and I argued that being allowed to film the session was worth the extra point and, IMO, as worthy as the acts that warrant a score of 9 in service.  It was denied, but at least they gave me the opportunity to explain and repost.  I still feel that being able to film is worth an extra service point.

I have been known to propose and support X-out-of-Y scoring.  See numerous threads on General, Suggestion and Policy, and other boards.

I have had some FANTASTIC 7-out-of-7s and 8-out-of-8s. If reading reviews, I think I'd prefer to meet a 7-out-of-7 = 100% (A) to a 7-out-10 = 70% (B- or C). I don't always need or want the extras that merit a 10 in the denominator, especially if they were only provided at the 7 level in the numerator.

I say:  "TER rules only allow an 8, but it felt like a 10"...or whatever numbers fit the situation.

Only the VIPers get to see that, and that seems to be okay with Admin.

I will say I would give her a 10 if I could, but her menu only allows a 9, even though its performed flawlessly.  This lets other mongers know that she among the top providers even though she only gets a 9.    

Your narrative probably failed to reflect the required attributes necessary to warrant the score you wanted to give her. Can’t know for sure without knowing your desired score for her and the accompanying narrative.

The rules were different then.  You used to be able to score based on whether a service was "offered" or not in her profile.  Now the service must have actually been received during YOUR session.  The rule change occurred at or about the time they rolled out the Beta version of the website and discussion boards.

When I previously had a review kicked back because the narrative didn't align with the rating I was always given the opportunity to either 1) change the narrative and make them align, 2) not post the review  and delete it, or 3) move forward with a review that has a lower score.  The choice was always mine.  Until recently when I had 2 reviews get downgraded (scores lowered) and was told by TER that they would not change them.  That said, previously (years ago) TER would open up my reviews and allow changes to content after posting, but not this time.  This was never a big deal.  I understand the scoring system.  Usually it is something dumb like I said we kissed and TER came back and said the maximum score is blah, blah because it is not clear if you kissed with a tongue.  Ironically, a few months ago I called BS on someone who said something about this because I had never experienced it myself until recently.

out the window when the rules changed, because they lend themselves to manipulation of scores and undermine the integrity of the review system.   NONE of this is a problem if you write an ACCURATE review to begin with.  I have not had a score changed due to a oversight in my narrative in over 4 years, and we're talking a few hundred reviews.  If you do it right the first time, there is no need to ask to an opportunity to edit.  They're giving you free VIP days for the review, so at least take the time to proof read it a couple of times before the submission.  

 
Changing the narrative AFTER it is gone live leaves everyone wondering if it's still accurate, or not. That's why TER doesn't allow edits that will change the score.  If you have an edit that will not affect the score, like perhaps you were a little TOO accurate stating the incall location, you can ask and they might delete that for you if there is no impact on the score.  No one would ever convince me that someone wrote a review, gave a girl a 10, and then after the mods lowered the score to 9, say they just "forgot" that they also got anal.   Who fucking FORGETS they got anal during a session when they are writing the Juicy Details of a review?  Easy Answer . . . .  NO ONE!!!

was misleading when you  said "SEVERAL years ago", and that's why I reasonably assumed you  had it happen under the previous rules.   The Beta switchover was January/February of 2017, and there were no US reviews accepted between April 2018 and December 2019.  

So on the review in question, you didn’t specify DFK, but you scored her as if you did. TER lowered the performance score. That’s the protocol now, and you've experienced it first hand.

I've had deals with TER about reviews. I would say, 99% of the time it was right, considering. What I mean is, they did their job. The problem is if they LET you make amendments after the fact.  

Some were changed or flat out deleted because something happened later and you didn't want to associate yourself with someone anymore.  

But by then the damage was done and that's what PM is for.  

There's a lot of people that don't post on the boards, not to mention review. They just lurk and read posts and reviews. They don't need to get into the bullshit and I admire that. Sometimes someone would ask me about a lady and what I 'really think' and vice a versa when a lady I was friends with asked me about a certain guy.  

The thing is, it's not perfect. There's no such thing. And as much as I bitch and moan about fucking things, the fact of the matter is, this is what we do. If everyone was content in their personal lives none of us would cross paths.  

Actually, I take that back. SOME of us are content, but push the envelope. There's the thrill and excitement. Some of you have SOs and encourage the other to experiment. But it has to be consensual, mutual and tomorrow doesn't exist. You leave it at the door when you walk in again.

Authors should write according to the style required by their publishers.

Specs often vary by publisher and dictate when to use "couple, few, several, many," etc.. Each publisher has their own requirements for captions, tables, bibliographies, footnote marks (a, b, c ... vs. 1, 2, 3 ... vs *asterisk dagger double dagger, ...), abbreviations, etc..  E.g., by some newspaper style guides, the FIRST mention of "Senator John Blutarsky" in a news story should be written in full; thereafter, it is "Sen. Blutarsky."

TER has an FAQ but it doesn't have a TER Style Guide.  Therefore, readers should be open to differences between authors and their backgrounds and not insist that only one Style Guide (their own or the only one they know) apply when the publisher (TER) has no such requirement.

Or, you can ignore the Style Manuals completely and end with something like this:
