I am pretty newbie in spending the time with providers, however, I've been today thru very unpleasant situation and I would like to listen to your ideas...
I've scheduled a meeting with the provider today (called her today in 8 pm and she's got into my door at 9:15), she arrived at time. She's profile is here: http://sf.backpage.com/adult/classifieds/ViewAd?oid=oid%3A563726&name=escorts
Then, after taking donation, she's first question was "what would you like to do?" I said "well, I haven't planned this meeting in details, but I guess we can just do the regular thing and I'd like you to lead since this is my first time with provider". She kind of said "what do you mean?" I didn't feel comfortable to tell he "hey, I am here for some good sex" but she insisted that she is here for 1 hour and until I will not tell her what would I like to do - nothing will happen.
I tried to tell her that I am feeling pretty uncomfortable in this situation but it didn't work. By the end, after 15 minutes, I said I would like to cut this session since I am not feeling comfortable with this situation.
She called the agency, they said that they cannot return me the money (I didn't insist) and she told me that if I want to reschedule - it should be done in 10 days.
What I wrong not telling her plain and simple "hey, I want BBBJ or something else…"? Or my expectation from her to lead (which I expressed several times) was wrong?
What should I tell her on question "what would you like to do?"
Please help since I am very confused now...

Your tongue-tied shyness probably saved you here.  This ad has Law Enforcement written all over it!  There's no way she put up nude pictures like that and needed to ask what you meant.  No way!  The fact that she wasn't independent and had an "agency" to call who then let her get away with that sets off alarm bells with me.  

Things that say LE: very slick pictures like an agency.  Copy with errors in it: like a young independent.  No agency home page (usually she'd be one of many they'd try to appeal to you with).  

Usually LE will try to bring you to a hotel incall.  It might have just been a rip-off, but I strongly doubt it here, because part of the hook that they had was that this was just a college student.  

I hate to say, you're better off forgetting about your money here.  Too risky to go further.  

I suggest that you go with well-reviewed providers, agencies or massage parlors to begin with.  Use the references from there to move to independents.  Look at a lot of pages and reviews and figure out who has been around for a while.

The idea that they gave you 10 days to reschedule sounds odd..(It could mean the length of time they have an ongoing sting operation)

Do your homework on TER and you will find enough trustworthy providers at that price range!

No reviews, take a pass, particularly for a newbie.

First, as a newbie, make sure you are seeing an independent provider, one with a few reviews and you'll likely be naked within 2 minutes, she will, after all, time is money. Agencies for the most part coach the ladies to get or give as little as possible and if anything goes wrong we got your back. That intimidates the average newbie and it should because you are at a supreme disadvantage even when it's your home.

... in scheduling a first session.  I'm from the San Francisco area and I have never heard of backpage (looks like a low-rent CL) so I agree this could have been LE though busting a hobbyist during an outcall seems doubtful.  I checked out the provider on a local review board; no history.

Next time, do your due diligence.  Study the reviews and the ads to find someone who will make that first session a memorable one. BTW, I would probably let the provider know in advance in case she isn't in to deflowering virgins.

LE will try different things. It might have been just a rip-off, but either way, he should stay away from an ad like that.

It made her look independent, which is what made me think it could be a sting.  If it's not a sting, it was a fraud.  

It does beg a question, though.  How can a guy without references avoid agencies?

So what does a search of (415) 839-5212 yield?  Read aksf's review of "Darla"!  Even if you aren't a VIP, you will see a situatution similar to what vadimska describes - only aksf's is even worse!

His description was that she called an "agency." Forget the ad, it also does not imply she was was independent. As for being a newbie, I had no trouble getting screened from indy's when I didn't have references. You just have to plan better and not expect last-minute magic. I avoid most agencies to this day and the few I used I talked to the screeners and gave them my info. What's the mystery?
