pretty much ANY service industry will reserve the right to refuse service based on their own criteria... sometimes it makes sense, sometimes it doesn't.

Guys in their early twenties are more likely to become the love sick puppies. Too often, they confuse seeing a provider with having a real date with training wheels. When this topic comes up on the Providers Only board, the older providers often state that it makes them uncomfortable seeing clients, who are in the same peer group as their children.  This experience reminds them that they are older.  

There are LOTS of other reasons why this barrier exists (for other providers; not me.)
However, the aforementioned reason is the one I think happens most often.

He did read my website but thought my age restriction did not apply to him. He was a bit older than you and in his intro email told me how responsible and respectful he was.  

When I reminded him that I do have an age restriction that is evident on my website and that I have it there for a very good (my ) reason and that I don't make exceptions due to past experiences.

The next email I got from this spoiled little brat confirmed again why I have this age restriction. It was full of him yelling at me in all caps, boasting about his well paying job, how I should not be an escort if I can't handle him and the list goes on and on and on. This actually concerned me greatly because if he acted like this when I said no, how on earth would he react when I am alone with him if I refused something he wanted? Scary thought.

Consequently, his email was blocked and he now might find harder to get a date.

So, please respect the ladies by respecting their choices. These choices are not made to be difficult but generally from experience. Yes we can get idiots that are 60 years old but here's the thing, all we need is a couple of bad experiences to not want to go there anymore. Something like a guy who now only sees reviewed providers and flatly refuses to see a lady with none

I don't necessarily put an age minimum on my ads, but at 32, 20 may be a tad young. I feel like I'm robbing the cradle
