Not that I need to watch them when I'm in a hotel, but....

I'm kind of sad to see them go.

I hope it's not a trend.

from movie channels to internet on-demand.

I find that some R rated movies are more erotic than soft porn. Marriott was probably losing money on it.
I prefer to watch hard core porn if I am going to watch porn.

That's Rocco and his crew of eurosluts. I love em!

...It's a Mormon family that owns the company and I think their religious views are behind it.  But as an earlier post pointed out, Internet porn is better anyway, so no great loss.

mrfisher, I didn't know you posted this until after our talk this morning. I went and told you about my cousins from Spain that came here and one spent all his time in his room in Vegas just drinking and watching porn.

Kinda strange, man. The waves and shit.... ;)

I travel frequently and found that the variation in local obscenity laws made it hit or miss for me in buying movies in-room.  Sometimes it was hard-core, sometimes soft-core only.. and they were expensive.  I have moved entirely to either bringing my own DVD's and playing them on my laptop or connecting my laptop to the TV (most flat panels have enough inputs to make this easy) and watching them on the larger screen.  It is cheaper and I get to bring along the movies I really want to watch.

You can also download a huge array of movies via BitTorrent and watch them DVD free.  This is particularly great for netbooks and long flights...  Having flown to China several times last year believe me I have thought through the portable entertainment (adult and otherwise) question deeply! *grin*

It's so funny, they say the one of the reasons why is "whether safeguards exist to prevent children from seeing it."  What BS.  They don't care about that, it just hasn't been lucrative for them because of the prevalence of free, available hardcore on the internet, so no one is paying $8.99 for a porn movie.  Nice spin.

I've never watched in-room porn anyway; you can find better on the Internet. I have a portable USB HD filled with it, and since I tend to take my laptop everywhere I travel (except while hobbying), it's all good. :-)

It won't mean a thing...

Who pays for "hotel porn" when internet porn is free...not to mention there's always a live lady available!!!

Or, as my hero, former Gov. Edwin Edwards of Louisiana put it:
"The only way I will not be re-elected is if I am caught in bed with a live boy, or a dead girl."
PS: He was just released from prison.
