How is the hobby in Vegas different from the big cities?

I've been hobbying in NYC and Boston for a few years, and have grown accustomed to the practices there - the $$$, the services available, the protocol, the good agencies, etc.

I'm planning a trip to Vegas this fall, and was considering some time with a provider there, but, aside from the fact that it's readily available, I don't know much how the hobby differs there.

- Should I expect to pay more? How much?
- Are the same services available (e.g., my personal faves, BBJ and CIM)?
- How do you avoid scams and bad providers?
- What's the best approach? Call an agency? Visit the Ranch? Meet someone at a casino bar?
- Any other risks?

Thanks in advance for any advice and insights.

You should post that on the Vegas board, but I'll tell you want I know since I visit Vegas alot (but only seen one provider there).

The price is higher there. Definitely starting at $$$$ and then goes up. I think alot are mostly covered BJ, but you can look at the reviews for ones that don't.

Read the reviews to avoid scams. I think Smart1101 is starting what he call the "Sunday Rip Off Journal" every week.

As for the ranches, they are about 80 miles away from Vegas (about 50 minute drive). I used them before I started the hobby. They can be expensive and are usually one pop only, but everything is negotiable. Around $$1/2-$$$ for single pop straight lay. Too $$$$-$$$$$ for half and half (single pop CBJ and lay).

Hope that helps

I don't count the brothel experience as hobbying. I was doing the brothel thing 3 years before "real" hobbying. Anyways, when I found TER, it allowed me to post review on those experiences, so I figured why not and gave me a foot into the hobby. Also, the Brothels are way outside Vegas.

I have actually only seen one provider in Vegas.

For me, as a provider visiting Vegas, it stood out in one real way:  guys go to Vegas to party!  When I visit my incall bookings which are just a couple of hours in a minority. Going to dinner, shows, casinos and nights out on the town are what most dates consisted of.

I know you didn't ask providers for an answer but your question brought back many fond memories of great nights with some of my favourite guys :)

I will email you here...also a Boston hobbier that does Vegas trips.

Most visitors only see the strip, but I would say Vegas is a big city at 1.7 million peeps.

Do not use and agency in this town EVER. We are the capital of scams, up-sells, bait and switches, and robs in the country. Therefore the Sunday Jornal:

Do yourself a favor and do your homework real well, use a good independent provider and you will have a wonderful time. Afterall, there IS only one Las Vegas. 40 Million visitors a year says so. "What happens here in Vegas, happens over and over again in Vegas", including the aforementioned scams.

Feel free to PM me, and get the new addition of the best hotties of Vegas. Ones you just flat can't go wrong with tired and true. Or, take a gamble and grab a pamplet on the street from the vendors. "To your room 20 minutes or Less" Right

By the way, if Carrie of London lived here, she would be up there at the top of the hotties list. lol  GOOD LUCK!!

For the record, I followed all 1.7 million of them into the office yesterday morning.  Can't you share the wisdom of lower prices in other small towns like DC, etc?  Maybe they'll leave, and you & I can split all the local talent.

True enough, 1.7 million incorporates all of Clark County.

If you lived here you would know that Clark County IS Las Vegas, so what's the beef?

Or, "Where's The Beef?"

Especially since the city limits don't even include the strip.  But I guess that doesn't matter if you have the Info. lmao.

They know they aren't going to see you every month and aren't likely to try to make you a regular, meaning it's just a bit more shallow.

The answers to almost all your questions is "Do your homework and search the reviews."

Though the average price for a beautiful provider is higher, there are some great ladies who don't need $$$$$ and will provide BBJ & CIM.

Agains, using the boards and reviews will keep you out of trouble.

I don't use agencies as a rule, though if I was going there regularly, there might be some advantage to establishing a relationship. I just wouldn't want to pay their overhead.

I have been to the ranches a fewf times and have never had a great experience or even an average one. I am sure they are available, but again, I think you are paying agency rates and getting nothing extra (except a line-up) in exchange. And BBJ and CIM are NOT available at any of them because they are operating legally and those things are not legal.

Vegas has little appeal to me. I have to go there frequently for conventions and meetings, but don't much like it.

1) Vegas is not a place.  There is no history.  They blow new stuff up to build newer stuff.  It's a dead desert but they stole some water and its a garden mirage... for now.
2) In Vegas money is nothing or everything.  A beer costs nothing (comp at the table) or $300 (you lost at blackjack sipping your brew) or $10 (by the pool).  You don't have money - you are either up $$$$ or down $$$$ depending on the hour of the day and there are no clocks.  They spend millions on the decor of the worst restaurant in the Casino which is a branch of some other city's restaurant.  That new sign for that new show is 6 stories tall and they rewrapped the building so you might glance at it for a sec.  it'll be gone next month.  The building will be gone next year.
3) In Vegas there is no time.  Since there is no history and no clocks and nothing ever closes.

So of course the hobby is different.  How much did it cost?  - 1-1000 beers.  How long was I with her? - no clock to watch.  Where was I? - no place.

Gotta love the LV experience - and why won't Niki A answer my drunken phone calls?
