Providers: What do you tell non-hobbyists who want to date you?

Just wondering what responses the ladies give when they meet someone they like in the non-hobby world and would like to go on a date with them.

Do you date the guy anyway, but hide your other life?

Do you tell him you are flattered but its not a good time for you now?

Do you you tell him you like him but just like to be friends?

I mean there must be thousands of guys who ask out providers , and wonder why a beautiful women chooses not be involved with someone or date anyone, not knowing their profession keeps them from doing so

And what do you find is the guys response? Does he keep trying or move on

And you would be "dating" and taking 3 large bills to do so as well so stop your damn belly aching. lol. Last time I spoke with you, Mr Hetero, you were touting your happy gay side. lol.

Ok, that guy proly wasnt CPA. I mean I dont THINK it was him. lol. Did he look like Danny from Full House? lol. Ok, to be serious, you had an egotistical jerk wad. (Are you SURE it wasnt CPA? lol)

Guys can be smacked asses, no doubt, but you have a way of lumping us all together. Would you want to wear the sins of other girls in civie life or on this board? I would think not. If I had a shitty date in p4p I wouldnt assume the next would be bad. Quite the opposite. Civie life same thing. Get back on the horse!

If not, then my answer is something along the lines of "sorry, we're not compatible."

If I do have some interest, then I will date them a few times and see how it goes, just like any other person would.  The people I've dated have known / do know about Natasha, and they have not / do not like it, but they live with it if they like me enough.

Then you are doing pretty good. I thought most civie guys would have a hard time accepting that their girl friend was a "hooker" (no disrespect to you by the terminology). that it would be necessary to "lie" about what you do - of course that then creates a whole series of deceptions which ultimately he will find out the truth and would hurt him enough to leave. So I guess honesty upfront is the best policy.
(of course maybe some guys are flattered at the prospect of "dating" someone for "free" that others guy have to pay to date - so it may make you more attractive to them?)

You mean he "tolerates" it right? If he "accepts" it, he wouldnt want you to quit. Or Caitlyn do you think I am mistating it? I am not busting on you at all mind you, just interested in how you/your guy deals with you and the biz. I know it can be difficult.

he has learned to understand the difference between work and love

He has never pushed me to quit... but Ideally,  I think it would benefit us as a couple if I was not working

found that the only guys I attracted were men just looking for sex.... not a relationship...

or the poor and broke mother fuckers looking to sponge off me

When I met my bf, I told him a partial truth, then as time went on, and I knew he was in love with me, I told the truth slowly...

he stayed because by then he was in love, but he would not have if he knew straight away...

I hated to lie to him, but I had tried the other way... and it never worked...

I actually use to have business cards, & when asked out, would hand them a business card(this was 5+ years ago)... most got the hint, but a few would actually still call wanting to go out on a "real" date. Now, I'm rarely ever in situations where I'll be asked out... unless it happens at the grocery store, oil change/car repair, or running other various mundane errands...which most guys won't approach you to ask you out or strike up a conversation when your with your kids(they are a detractor usually!).

I remember back in 07 or so, I went to get a new car. The salesman REALLY liked me.. but I thought he was just being polite. He let me take the car for a couple of hours(without him) to test drive it around the city, then went and picked up my step-dad so he could test drive it and make sure everything was OK... kept telling me how awesome my parents were(and telling them how nice I was). Fast-forward a week later, & he's still calling my cell phone... I finally broke it down to him completely... he seemed so heart-broken that I wasn't looking for a BF, or to even go on a date.

I had a provider tell me that for hobbyists, obviously she required condoms, but for boyfriends, they were allowed bareback...and that makes a certain amount of sense, depending on the sense of trust or not one had with a significant other...What was your policy? How did you justify it? Did you come to regret it or not?

use condoms for Clients, and CIVVIE sex, was condom free... I definitely regretted it...

Now I am condom free with my boyfriend, of many years.... but before, I definitely had riskier CIVVIE sex vs now, I am safer in the hobby...

Thank god, I had a angel on my shoulder, and I never got anything

I can't count the number of providers who insist they NEVER have unprotected sex, yet they are raising three kids. lol

I had a "condom free" relationship with a provider a few years back that I felt safer with than any civvy woman I had ever dated. She worked at one of the legal brothels outside Reno and was tested every time before coming to work and again afterwards. By coming to work I of course don't mean each time she had sex, she would work for a couple of weeks and then come home for a week or so of vacation. Needless to say, I slept quite well at night where it came to worrying about any chance of catching an STD.

or exproviders, I think they would disagree as well.

People love to use these broad, sweeping generalizations about the hobby. I think it's a defense mechanism for when:

a provider won't see them off the clock

an asian provider claims she "can't" date

or she tells him any of the other excuses he list's here.

I know a lot of the reason asian sex workers are labeled sex slaves is that many of the girls in order to chase off guys they aren't interested in either claim not to speak english, or say they will get in trouble with the mamasan if they give out their own telephone number. I have known probably at least a couple of hundred asian providers on a personal level of some kind and probably half of them had a boyfriend.

that they always had protected CIVVIE sex before this profession, I would have to call their bluff...

I have talked to MANY women, who all say the same thing, that they were more unsafe as a non provider with boyfriends, one night stands, fwb, etc...

I only used condoms for sex when I worked in the brothels in Nevada... and yes they are absolutely NOT cleared thru the Sheriff's Dept to work, till the COMPLETE STD tests come back and ok them..

When I worked there, we had mandatory testing EVERY week. We were cleared the same day to return to work, but if we were not, we had to wait till we were.

I most definitely have unprotected sex with my monogamous relationships.... but then again, he and I have been together for 9 yrs...

Personally, a guy would imho be MORE at risk to catch a STD with a regular CIVVIE gal, they met at the bar or etc... vs a provider.. It only takes ONE TIME!

that even after decades of P4P the only STD's they have ever caught have been from civvie's, not pros.

But I had been hurt and burnt and used with EVERY single guy I was honest with, and so when I met my bf, I was just on rebound, and thought he was not my type anyways, so I figured, lets test the theory of not telling the guy at first...

Well the first date went so well, we spent the next 7-10 days together straight... in this time I found out that he truly was a great catch, and I did not want to lose him... so I did lie to him because I saw something special and different and worth holding on to that the other ones never had...

I felt bad manipulating his heart, but it was the only way to keep him... once he was enough in love, I told him... yes knowing he would stay...

fair? no...
worth it in the end?
definitely!
