I just have to share an amusing dream I had last night. It wasn't realistic, but funny none the less.

In my dream, I was having a big party at my home. The attendees were all providers and hobbyists, from my area and beyond. Discretion be damned, there was loud music playing, endless food coming off the grill and people milling all through the house, over the yard and out into the street.

Interestingly, the ladies in the dream were in razor-sharp focus. I could clearly see faces (and more) of ladies I'd met and others familiar from their postings and websites. Needless to say, they all looked ravishing.

The guys one the other hand were fleeting and spectral. It was hard to pin down what any of the guys looked like, athough in my dream, I had fascinating discussions with a number of frequent posters. Even in dreams, they shared wise and amusing anecdotes. Although one unknown person kept raiding my liquor cabinet, even though there were plenty of beverages including booze out on the tables for drinking. (I don't know what that was about. Blame my subconscious.)

One common theme I kept overhearing from paired-off providers and hobbyists was the appallingly low number of bedrooms available in my house. Gee, I wonder what that was about... Anyway, things wound down in the wee hours of the morning. And at the end, I did get my own bedroom. I wasn't alone, and it was good to be the host.

The whole scenario is "Not gonna happen" for numerous reasons, but it made for a great dream. Just thought I'd share...

I went to one party years ago but decided it would be my last party since my anonymity is important to me. However, there are many Meet & Greets like that in this area.

You were there. It sounded like you were having fun. I even recall who you were with. Don't you remember?

I wake up VERY hot and bothered..... Hopefully I have time to pull the toys out or a very grumpy person I will be...

The reason the women were in focus, but the men were fleeting is because they really have no interest to you.  The women OTOH are your primary focus.

But a party like that sounds like a lot of fun...

...But of course it will probably never happen, except in a few random cases.

Aside from the (probably valid) psychological reason, there is a purely practical one. I've seen a couple ladies in person. I've viewed pictures of numerous others. But I've never seen any of the guys behind the screen names. Perhaps at a M&G some day. That is probably the closest we could come to that sort of party, since I can't fathom having it at a person's home.
