Cell phones while in session
Is any one else bothered by cell phone noise during a session. I feel both the provider and the client should agree at the beginning that cell phones will be turned off. Even if the phone is on vibrate it is annoying to here it vibrate near the action. Perhaps this should be added to the list describing the provider along with was she on time etc. "Was the cell phone turned off?" It is my belief this is akin to a phone going off in a court room. I would like to see the TER moderators join in on this.

On a few occasions either I, or the lady I was with, called a hobby brother during the act. Funnier than fuck!

They'd answer the phone, 'Hey Mikey! Wassup!' and the lady would say, 'It's not Mikey. He's eating my pussy right now. He said to say hi!' or some shit like that!

Fucking hilarious and I can't wait to do it again! lmmfao!!!!

As much as I agree that they could be anoying during a session, I must say that Most Gents have SO and it would not be a bit hard to Explain why their cell was off. I have had gents who stop during to check phone and some times answer it.. Don't bother me none if he does, as he can do as he please with his time.

as for the lady well I always turn off my cell during a session I just feel is lack of respect to the gents time as there should be no interuptions during sessions...

just my .02 cents

If the SO can't get ahold of me...I left the phone in the car....I was in a meeting.... My phone wouldn't work where I was working....There are so many reasons why I can't answer the phone

Many go straight to voice mail or verbally tell you the user is away from the phone.  great ammo for a SO.  Or at least a really good way to arouse suspicion.  Guys if your gonna turn your phone off I strongly suggest you check how it rings by calling it yourself.

I agree that turning a phone to vibrate during a session is reasonable. Its what I do. But expecting a lady to turn her phone off completely is unlikely, and quite frankly unreasonable. Its usually the phone vibrating after you've left that reminds me to switch it back to ring. I'm not going to miss an entire day's calls because the thought of hearing a phone vibrate is enough to make willy go turtle on you.

...if it's right next to the bed and going off every 5-10 minutes, that's annoying.  Even worse is when a provider insists on checking to see who called or checks messages.  Or sends a quick text back.  At the beginning of a session it's OK to let the driver/friend/pimp/whatever know that things are on track.  But after that -- the phone needs to be gone.  Completely.

Either be with the customer or be with your phone.  You can't do both.

This is actually a pet peeve of mine, and I can be a real jerk.  I have taken phones away and shut them off.  I once texted a provider sitting right in front of me (at a bar) and told her that if she checks her texts one more time I'm walking out.  Ladies: You don't have to be interested in me, but PLEASE at least try to fake it while you're being paid.  In exchange, I won't comment on your saggy tits and the stained panties under the dresser that look like they've been there half a year.

A cell phone on vibrate on a night table beside the bed sounds like a chain saw while I am getting my nut. I am paying her for her time and I want her undivided attention. I know in the future i will remark about a phone going off during MY time.

Not to mention some providers have children who might need to get a hold of them for some reason or another.

Honestly, if a provider's phone goes off, I am okay with her answering (if we are not in a heated conversation right then) and "pausing" the clock if it is important.  Of course, an apology for the interruption would be polite.

Right, because all the providers in Chicago are "street smart" and only have hobby phones?

Just a thought.

For that matter, another thought, all the hobbiests out here probably do not have hobby phones either. We're all not smart enough to have T.E.R. accounts and read up on the SOP for today, you know.

Plus many ladies use an internet phone like Google Voice as there hobby phone that are forwarded to there real cell phone.

You aren't very smart are you?

I'm not quite sure how you can say this is unreasonable with the amount calls many get in a day.  A provider gets many more calls then we do in any given day.  Ive heard provider phones buzz 10x/hr.  you refusing to turn yours off at 300-400 an hr is rude, and blaming hobbyist for you loosing work because you might forget to turn the phone back to ring is absurd.  Try making it a habit and you wont have to blame hobbyist for your absent mindedness.

As far as answering the phone during a session, it happened to me several times.
The one newbie provider answered it a second time after I suggested she wait until after we were done. She answered the second time while I was pounding her from behind and I screamed "fuck me harder baby, fuck me harder".
She was a little pissed off, but I finished and forgot to tell her the tip was under a book before she left.

OMG that's a good one, Hopefully she learned a Lesson....

I have heard many stories like Yours, Take away the (Fuck me Harder part) which almost made me peed my pants...   Is so Unprofesional and Tacky. Most of this girls Have Manegement(So I heard) they don't care about reputation as tthey are always changing numbers and names or you hear the same story over and over again..

But bk to the point..  I once left my phone on By mistake, I was so Embarrased when it rang while i was gettig pounded from behind, we both ignored it but when it rang the second time I had to excuse myself and turn it off (Silent/Vibrate) and went back to having fun..

I understand sometimes shit happens but when The lady Does it on a reg basis is just NOT right at all, If i was a paying for a session I would get up and leave..

We all have SO/Family and Emergencies Do Happen.. But ansswering call during a session or texting while getting pounded it just Plain Rude..

once again Just my .02 cents

Carry ON  :)

It's rude and obnoxious for someone providing a service to have their cell phone on while providing said service.

If it must be on it should be silent.  She has plenty of time to use her phone after you are done.

Now if its an overnight or a 4 hour date then it would be ok for it to be on vibrate and her to use the phone when you are in the bathroom etc..

I have a simple solution for the cell phone problem and possible interruptions. I put a ballgag in the providers mouth. End of story problem is solved, lol.

I get a laugh when the phone rings and they mumble stuff that I can't understand lol. I lick the pussy and/or put the rabbit vibrator in high vibrate mode.

Some will be nice and turnoff the cellphone before the fun starts.

I always thought that was to be expected. Extra points off if they answer it!

...understandable that they have to be able to be reached at all times.

Ah the old  "I have kids" excuse.  I'd venture the overwhelming majority of calls to people who use that excuse is not their kids.   If you are being paid handsomely for an hour, the least one should be expected to do is give one's undivided attention

Now if its a multi hour date there would be plenty of times to discretely look and see if you have a message but for one hour or 90 minute appointments there is no excuse.

So they never go to a movie theater, church, a lecture, school?

I know at work I don't have my cell phone on when I'm at a meeting.  Its rude to have a phone on anything but silent.  Its readily apparent if you get a message.

I think going forward if a prostitute uses her phone in my presence in a 90 minute or less appointment will get two points the performance.

I'm not sure how others manage their phone and personal and professional lives.  I have two phones and yes, my personal phone is on just in case I'm needed in an emergency situation. It's not on very loud.  I always have both of my phones with me while in a session.  My hobby phone is always turned off, I will not answer it during a session.  All calls on my personal phone are ignored unless it's my children and they have their own ring tone.

I seldom get calls but I do miss them sometimes, either I'm in a dead spot (there are some in the hilly area I'm in) or I don't hear the phone in my jacket (especially with the seat belt over it I've noticed).

I have had sessions interrupted by phone calls.  One Fav lady...  has taken calls on her land-line (home)...  to prevent family members from showing up while we were naked!  On 2 occasions over the  several years, a major family emergency cropped up during my appointment.  I tried slipping out to go to the bathroom (and to give her some privacy during a stressful time) & she demanded "Where do you think you're going?"  I really was going to get dressed & take off.   We had not really gotten going...
She insisted I stay...  we ended up talking for an hour.  At some point she realized we had not completed the reason for the meeting...  She was pretty upset & her mind wasn't really in it but she did complete the transaction (at her insistance) despite being distracted.
It was a tough spot to be in...  the call was 110% legit.  Never the less I was mentally trying to figure out what to do about compensation.  Had she been anyone else, I'd have been long gone...
skb

Unless she is letting someone know she is safe at the beginning and end of a session... Or  checking her messages every 2 or 3 hours during an extended hour date...They should be turned OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's rude and inconsiderate....And then they wonder why they don't get tipped!!!!!

I'm sorry she can't talk to you right now because I have my dick in her mouth.

BTW, WTF you doing on the boards? Don't you have a little lady to attend to?! ;)

Silent or off preferred.  I would not be offended by having it on vibrate.
But please ask if I mind before answering the phone.

my hobby cell phone and car keys on top.  When I put the phone down and turn it to "off" I make a point to say something like "no body needs to contact me now" to give the lady the hint to turn hers off as well.  This procedure has worked well for many years.

I can't believe that a provider would not only, leave her phone on during a session, but also answer it?? Never, never, never!!! I always turn my phone on silent right before the session begins, and have never answered a call during(well, my phones on silent, so even if it rings, I won't know that until after the gentlemen I am with at that time has left).

That's another thing I've heard about from gentlemen, is the lady checking her phone/texting at the end of the session... like you really couldn't wait another 5-10 minutes until he left?? It's unprofessional and in poor taste. Now, there are certain gentlemen that have to have their phone on at least vibrate, & it doesn't bother my in the least if they have to answer, but MY phone will never be an issue.

to call 911 in a hurry if the guy proved unreasonable enough to yank the phone out of the hotel wall. It was in my purse and out of sight, but it was on and I could get to it quickly.

That idea won't work as the first thing the bad guy would do is throw the phone on the floor. Vibrate or ring the phone is a distraction and if you take my money I want your attention. I watch couples on dates and they are busy texting. If you need to keep in touch with all your friends then talk to or text them on YOUR time. If you accept my money you have a contract to please me. Perhaps that is just me being an old goat and not being raised that way. I was taught if I have company in my house I don't get on the phone and ignore my guest. In my job I would never answer my phone while my boss was talking to me. It all comes down to respect.

Boss? lol your not her "boss".

seconds not being wasted turning on a phone in a bad situation has probably saved lives before. If it's on SILENT youll never know.

No one says that she shouldn't have a phone with her.  That is essential for her safety.  The issue is that provided the guy isn't being threatening or out of bounds the phone shouldn't be looked at, checked, or answered in a session.

Why couldn't your phone be on silent and it would serve those purposes?

The issue is her checking her phone mid session..  No reason why should do that.  To do that is highly rude.

sowhatt167 reads

errr yes that is why we were talking about a phone on silent. see the subject line of what you were replying to.,..

one of those I'd have avoided in the first place?

FWIW, my phone would always be on silent, NOT on vibrate and in my purse, because I didn't use it while in a session. I screened well enough that I only had one time that I wondered about my client, and he turned out to just want me to be a little rougher to him than I was used to.

I made up my mind going into this biz that if I'd ever had a guy that was that bad, I'd have grabbed my purse, grabbed my coat and run out the door, even if it was my incall - and then made what calls I needed to. Because my phone was actually still ON in spite being silent so that NO ONE HEARD IT, not even me, I didn't have to waste precious seconds waiting for it to connect.

But, I never had to do that, so my phone stayed silent and in my purse.

Got it now?

I am the most gentle guy you would ever meet. I met an escort in June that had me beliving she wanted out of the business. I hired teachers, bought books and helped her in every way I could. I found out later she was playing me as a sucker. I still feel bad that i was sucked into her lies. However i mean her no harm. I talk weekly to her parents and wish things had worked out better. I discovered her pimp beats her and yet she still stays with him. I would never raise a hand to her or you. I found it hard to "spank" a provider last week even as she aske me to do it harder. I started this tread because it truly bothers me to be with a wonderful woman and have a cell phone vibrate on the night stand near my head. I am probably much older that any of you. i was brought up to respect guests in my house and would never think of talking to some one on the phone while you were with me. It just strikes me as impolite to do so. I to over my work life have had concerns about my wife and kids. I had a job that when I went to work in the morning may not have contact for days at a time. What did you think life was like before cell phones. No I did not start this tread to argue I had noticed on several dates the cell phone went off in the middle of hot and heavy things. I think that we both could take breaks and check text message. My phone is set so that if I don't answer a text it will vibrate every 5 minute until I answer. I turn it off and after the date i can spend my time to answer the messages. For those of you that think a cell phone will bring help you are in for a surprise. Please all of you providers be careful and check before you do any thing. I worried about M---------- all of the time and discovered her worse fear should have been her pimp. Please belive that there are some of us out there that enjoy the "gifts" that you bestow on us.
Tucson

some of us do have children, you know!  i don't answer the phone for anyone but my babysitter in such a setting, but you can be damn sure that my *personal* cell phone will ALWAYS be set to 'vibrate' for calls just in case she does call with an emergency.  i am a single parent and if i am not there for my son when he needs his family the most, no one will be.  sorry, but my sproglet comes before everything else, at all times, without exception.  gentlemen who cannot empathize with that may feel free to decline to see me.

that said, my professional phone is ALWAYS set to silent during a date.  always.  (of course, virtually no one ever calls me on my professional phone because i never, ever answer unless i am expecting a call, like before a date.)  there is a difference between prioritizing family and prioritizing some other dude's calls.  the former is, IMO, just being a good mom.  the latter is unprofessional and tacky.  that would be like me just leaving the bed to go check my e-mail or something.

separate.  It would seem many don't see this as needed business practice.  I can only imagine that you realize you are offering a professional services and when it comes to the bottom line you are in business. IMHO.
Doc

And if it is choice between my family responsibilities and my duty to my business and my customers, my family wins every time. I will always take a call from my kids or my wife even during an important business meeting.

I wouldn't want the lady I am with to do less.

Now if she is taking call from other clients, her pimp, friends not watching her kids, or anyone else it is inappropriate to say the least. That would get me upset.

but this is another reason to have a separate phone for your family. A non business phone.  Without such, i frankly don't see away to politely distinguish between a call from a family member in need and a John or anyone else for that matter.

one # ring through, I assume it would be a feature like that, if that's how it works? pm if you know how to get a cell phone to do this.
Thanks,
Doc

Set your default ring tone to none or silent. And give your custom ring tones only to those few numbers that you need to have heard. It takes 5 seconds. At the end of set your default ring tone back to what ever you like.

Now if you are one of those people that has every person have there own ring tone, I can't help you. Unless you have an android phone like me. Then look up the WhoIsIt app. It is a life saver.

Family being one.

My personal phone is never off during a session. I need to answer it if an emergency comes up with my family or my business.

If my family trumps the hobby why shouldn't the ladies?

I personally try to remember to turn my ringer off.  There have been times when I forgot or have personal circumstances where I may need to be reached if an emergency should come up. When I absolutely need to leave my phone on for emergency situations, I keep my ringer low and I set a specific ring tone in case I am contacted by the certain person.  That way I know to ignore the other calls until our appointment is over.  I don't even pick up my phone at this point.  Fortunally, I have never been contacted on an emergency basis however, if I need to be available for it, I have not choice.

A gentleman is not paying me to sit on my phone or even answer it and I wouldn't think that gentleman would want us to set up other appointments on THEIR time.  If an emergency comes up, and I mean a real emergency, I believe most gentlemen would be understanding.
