"never forget" is a stupid notion. all of the perpetrators are dead. we ruined our country chasing a ridiculous revenge fantasy that can never be fulfilled, and worked hard to create a new generation of people to hate us for exactly the same reasons. it's beyond time to move on

Just because we may legitimately disagree with this country's response to the attacks

does not mean we shouldn't honor the victims and remember their suffering and that of their families to this day.
