Valentine’s Day Etiquette

Is sending a Valentine’s Day email (provider or hobbiest) appropriate?  I received 2 emails today and was somewhat surprised.  No promotions, just sincere messages.

I am curious how the TER community feels about Valentine’s Day email etiquette.

I won't email to anyone unless I have had constant contact with them!  Discretion, privacy and safety!

I got a couple emails from providers wishing me a happy valentine's day.  I'm sure they send stuff like this to most of their clients....it's marketing...a good business move.  I'm just happy to make the list of people they would consider having as repeat customers.

I recieved emails and calls wishing me a Happy Valentine's Day.

I feel that it was very thoughtful of them to take the time out for me, plus it put a big smile on my face.

I want to say Thank You, to all my great guys...you are very special to me!

Sending you Big V Day Hugs and Kisses!

Happy Valentine's Day,

Kelly

I think it's a nice gesture whether it's the provider sending them or the hobbysit.  It lets the other person know, and I emphasize the word PERSON, that he/she is more than just a commodity to the sender.

I had an encounter with a provider today and instead of my usual gift, I took her a heart-shaped box of chocolates (which she loved) and a non-mushy Valentine card.  She liked the card too.

and I always love hearing from my friends. I email them back if they send me a nice gesture or thoughtful message.

Hugs,
Ciara

I stopped by my ATF this morning and gave her a half dozen roses and a red heart shaped balloon. She's on a diet so knew candy was out.

I was never into the meaning of the different colors of roses but tonight I am happy to report they were not green.  Also, no green roses to my spouse thankfully.

It's another day. I got an email from a very sweet provider, it felt good. Just a shining example of her above-average or even excellent customer service. It's just another day in the end though.

I got one e-mail today from a client and I sent a few out but only to those I knew it was okay to send to.

It is always nice to know someone is thinking about you.

Some of the gentlemen that I have as clients aren't in a position to receive emails or phone calls without being questioned- I always leave it up to them to initiate communications...... Since I had one specific client that I know who is in the middle of a very challenging period of his life, I posted a note to him on a local discussion board. To my surprise he was able to reply w/ a skype message. I didn't recognize the account he sent it from but because of the wording I knew it was him. At least he knew he was in my thoughts. (*of course there was flak on the board for me posting the note- so what's new, right LOL*) At least he got the message and knew someone had him in their thoughts ~T

Welcome back.  Although we haven't met, Happy belated Valentine's Day.

I'm not back..... just reminding a few "old Friends"  that they were in my thoughts on Valentines Day- (*hopefully your day was filled with a little joy and maybe a few thrills*)  kisses ~T
