Reviewer Specials?

But one lady in my area advertises it and does it with what I consider integrity. You write a review she gives you a special rate for a second session. The discount is not huge, but enough to reward a reviewer and she only does 1 per month to keep her encourage someone to take the time.

Gents, and TER in general, I was wondering if there is a policy on posting a special for reviewers?  I have seen many gents who have found me here, but some just have their own reasons and preferences to not post a review, or maybe those who intended to review just got caught up with day to day life etc, which is understanding.

But I'm just curious if it is okay to offer a discounted rate or incentive for reviewers, because I'd like to have a current review, as it has been a couple years now since my last review, however I am active and available.

Just a thought, responses welcome by PM or post here Thanks in advance XOXO Lisa

It would be fine to offer a special for TER members. After the session ask them to review you. You want to make sure it doesn't appear that you're giving a "special" for a good review ie. buying a good review. It's a fine line. TER does frown upon specials for good reviews. Some would say offering the special would imply it's for a good review. But I have seen specials for TER members before.

I have seen ladies give specials for TER members who have written at least 3 reviews (recent?). There is another thread where guys say why spend the time to write review to get VIP membership.

There's a thread on this topic in the Minnesota board. Here's the latest from the Moderator:

>Providers running ads that say "discounts for reviews" will not be permitted. However, stating something along the lines of "reviewer specials" is allowed.

>I know it seems like it apples and oranges, but it is all in the wording. If providers want to give reviewers discounts, that's fine. Just don't advertise it that way.

Only contributes to the review inflation problem...

Quite a few ladies have done this though without creating issues,
but tread carefully.  There's a fine line between asking for a review versus giving incentive to write an inflated review.

a reviewer? Maybe because I am a newbie, I don't get the whole review process, but I assumed it would and should be like a secret shop. I have seen posts of girls that say the reviews are bad, mean, or wrongfully written, but why is that? Is it because she didn't know the gentleman was going to review her in the first place? So, if you offer a discount to reviewers, just to get a new review posted, does that mean that they'll get your best service? I would think to be consistently good at what you do, ask the gentlemen that see you to write a review, and just go with it you should be ok. Maybe I'm lost but it seems a little deceiving and desperate. But, if that strategy works then so be it.

Thanks for the advice guys, I will take into consideration your suggestions. I was just curious how to update my profile without having a new review, I am not wanting exchanging a discount for a "good" review, just wondering if anyone wanted to give me a new review so my profile reflects me as of now.  I never liked the term "Baby Fat", especially now that I've been working out and slimming up and learning as a companion as I experience more and more. I guess I will be patient for now. If I find it is safe to do so, I think the same compensation for an hours time I can offer 90 minutes for TER members? I just didn't want to post that on my weekly ad just yet.

Have a great day guys!

If you are wanting your profile to be up to date, a new review would help some because the reviewer could mention how you look etc in the details of his review. However a new review won't update your profile. If the new reviewer does enter newer, more accurate info into your profile fields as he writes the review your profile won't be changed to what he enters. Whatever the very first reviewer you had entered is there, no matter what, until someone files a "problem report". You Lisa, can report some things or you can use the "contact us" to communicate with TER admin. The reviewer will have to file a "problem report" in order to update any info on your profile. Depending on what it is he may have to offer some evidence.
Hope this helps.
Congrats on working out and slimming down. Keep working on it and keep learning.
