Often, I let someone else open an OP, if I suspect weird stuff. Then, I determine, by their reaction, whether I care to do so. Sort of like the food tasters of the king, many years ago. ;)

I did some more research and found out this use to be a big thing to do back in the "Victorian Age".

When I am in the grocery store I will get a laugh knowing that a few of those ginger roots are used for figging, lol.
