When not to post a review?

Hi all I am not completely new to TER but I am still feeling like a nooby at times.  Recently I felt like I got recognized as a TER reviwer on a visit to an agency that I had recently been to before (and had posted a TER review for). Basically after a session with another provider in the same agency, we had a little chit chat and was basically told in certain words (nicely enough I am just being blunt), that she didn't like reviews and etc.

Now I tend to be considerate about people feelings but then again I like posting reviews for some reason :-) My concern is that some details like proviers age was inaccurate along with other small details, but all in all the performance made up for it, though if I had accurate information I may have chosen some else that fit my liking simply because this agency had a great selection.

Basically what do you fellow hobbiest due in such a situation? Make the post anyways? How do you handle being recongized as a TER reviewer?

FYI I never mention making reviews or etc at worst maybe that I am just a new hobbiest.

Couldn't it be a coincidence that she mention reviewers and not the case that the agency told her?

I would say if you had a good time with her then respect her request not to be reviewed.  If it had been a bait and switch or she had given poor service then of course you should review to warn other potential clients.  As that's not the case I'd say just leave it.

UNLESS you agreed beforehand NOT to review the lady in question, you ought to post a review if you feel that the experience equires it.  From previous discussions on this Board I know that  some do not post reviews if their experience was in line with the prevailing trend of the provider's previous reviews.

I think if you are accurate and fair, if you mention the good along with the bad, and try to weigh the relative importance of each in your overall experience, you have done your job fairly as a reviewer.  Point out any unusual circumstances that might have influenced your evaluation in one direction or another.

From reading this Board for 2+ years, I sense that many do not reveal the fact that they review, let along the name undr which they review on TER.  That is a judgement call on your part; think it over.

Recently I struggled with a B&S... on the philly board (link below).  While the lady in question was not bad, she was not what was expected... and I had concerns that she was pregnant... etc.  Bothered me a great deal... as I do not wish to hurt business of a pregant lady, but I want truth in advertising.... clearly this was not what was offered.

our hobby - their business.  Once a few years back - under a different TER handle - (that both TER and I retired under mutual agreement) I provided a BAD review of a lady who was NOT B&S but she made me feel bad - the opposite of the way you should feel after a session.  In fact, I wrote that sex with her was like sex with my ex-wife....  totally unappealing.  She read the review and was mortified that anyone would think that of her... we exchanged a couple of e-mails... (mind you, my score of a 4 or so stood out like a sore thumb because up to that point her average was around an 8 or so).  And after this her scores jumped to the 9 range....

Did I hurt her or help her?

in another instance - a lady that I knew to be a 9 or so rated provider... was given a VERY bad review... and said things of the lady that I knew could not be true.... well, she called me... to ask what to do.... so the fellas in town all decided to see her - write new reviews and set the record straight... well, a week went by... and I called to make my appointment... she was booked solid.... the bad review had created a curiosity about her... that boosted her business....

you never know... read what others have offered on the Philly board... I thought it was fairly balanced... but you decide... it is a very personal decision... one thing I will offer is that the staff at TER takes bad reviews seriously - as they should.... and I was VERY impressed with the way that they handled my B&S review...

Well I have given the matter some thought. And here is my concerns simply the provider was basically 7 years old than I was told (but it seems fairly common to hide the true age), and was probably a bit air brushed from her postings.

So basically I felt that I was misinformed on the providers age and her felt her physical appearance matched that age difference. They had younger providers and I would have chosen appropiately.

Overall though the performance was good so I think the end result would be a postive review.

I guess I will let this one go to see if good karma arises from it :-)

I will test to see if they know me as a reviewer by trying another session with this agency, I personaly don't like the idea of being recognized as a reviwer as I am sure it will change the performance of the session.

I will usually post a review when I see someone who either doesn't have any or just a few.  Or if I can provide any new additional info for an estabished provider.  If I see someone  - and I see a lot of these as I tend to go with well-reviewed women - and have nothing to earth-shaking to add from prior reviews, then I won't bother.  If a provider asks me not to post a review, I will honor it as long as the performance was decent and there weren't issues that I feel other hobbyists should know about

Need to be outed... period! What's the friggin point of information sharing if we are not willing to tell the unvarnished truth about the bad people on both sides of the door? Screw them, the agency, the ladies, the bad clients if they do the wrong thing and do not make it right or worse do something to add insult to injury. If she "screws" you out of your cash, you have the right to plaster it all over the net so long it is the truth. The same goes for bad asses if they are hobbyists. He or she deserves to lose their privacy if they do something harmful including threats and other nonsense... Can't there be any honesty in this world?

I asked this question on the "Newbie" board several months ago when I didn't click with a provider. Wasn't her fault--we just had no chemistry whatsoever. I couldn't believe how many angry respondents said it was my duty to trash her.  Thank you Jazz32 for saying it was OK to not review the lady.  I didn't, and I'm happy I just let it go.
