No, you cannot change or rebut your reviews.
Unless they are fake reviews you have to live with what the hobbyist writes.

Well, it really doesn't matter who reads and approves the reviews.  If you have an issue it should be directed to TER staff.

It sounds like what you are saying here is that your reviewers have shown you copies of what they wrote but the posted review was different.  Your first inquiry should be to the reviewer to ask if had to change what he wrote for any reason after he showed it to you in order to get it approved.
Altering of a review by a member of TER staff is something that I have never heard of happening. That doesn't mean it never happens, I've just never heard of it. Being asked to provide more details however is quite common and often means that the review has to be revised by it's author.

Just curious as to who moderates reviews in the Chicago and Wisconsin area. I have viewed a copy of review/ reviews that were posted about me that are quite "different" from what is actually posted ? Is that right to alter reviews?

Its NOT what the HOBBYIST wrote !!! Someone else changed the review. WHY is this allowed ?

That is correct the review presented was not asked to be changed by the reviewer, yet when it was posted my hair color, tattoos, and build that he felt was HEAVY was changed to VERY FAT. I have heard of requests of more details, but never this. Thanks alot

 Just thought I'd throw this in since it's somewhat related to the subject. Not trying to be argumentative. One of my reviews was altered by TER staff. They took part of what I wrote in the general details and moved it to the juicy details. I asked why as the info was not juicy at all but simply how she looked and was dressed and so on, much like all the general details I have read in reviews. Once they checked it out they changed it back to it's original place.

In cases where I was not totally kissing the ass of a select few providers that I did submit reviews for, staff saw fit to edit my reviews to make her/them look much better than she/they actually was/were.

I'll never post a review to this site again.

One reason I stopped posting reviews. If it is not juicy, they will juice it up. Review Gods always wins in the end.

It has never happened to me. I have had a few rejected and re-done them.  Good to know.
