TER General Board
I was announced as the Moderator for this Board. During that time, Little Phil has joined me (first behind the scenes and then up front), I took a quasi break (gone, but not totally), and the two of us have modded this board together in, I believe, a simpatico way (although Little Phil is much better at it than me).
Well, I can't tell you how much your participation is appreciated. The number of posts has increased by 24 Thousand more than the number for the year prior, and 28 Thousand for the year prior to that.
That kind of increase tells me that the rumors of the death of the GD Board are greatly exaggerated, AND, more importantly, it tells me that you have all found a forum in which you are comfortable posting and expressing your views and opinions.
Thank you very much for being part of this community and for bringing so much to this forum.
If you have any suggestions for making it even better, don't hesitate to keep them to yourselves, post them here, or PM them.
Post early, post often, but by all means, post.
It's a difficult and thankless (for the most part) job that has to be more difficult than herding a bunch of kindergarten kids all day.
There can be no argument that it is the modding of a board that eventually determines it's success or failure.
Keep up the good work, and know that you are appreciated...even if we don't say it often enough.
(and I'll leave it at that, instead of using this as a venue for whining like a bitch about something like alias use or other ridiculous nonsense)

Honestly, I don't know how you guys do it! You have a cast of characters on this board that it would be difficult not to moderate on a daily basis. You 2 seem to be the perfect fit for this board (probably "small" LOL) It's great to have a board to play on where OZ can't find me!
