Ladies make all the arrangements (especially indys) for your convenience - so that your tidy little world will not be "discovering" your hobby activities. Then you conveniently forget, somthing happens... and you don't show for the MULTI hour session that you "just had to have."
And now, the lady sits - alone - in a hotel room, out the cost of the room and minus the bookings that she could have had - had she know you were gonna flake out on her.
To make matters worse, you know that there will be no retribution, that she will take your call next time... and that you are safe from any payback.... cause "you da man! Yea!"
Ya coulda at least had enought "manly stuff" in ya to call! Especially when you do this to particularly sweet ladies....
Dudes, that just plain sucks. nuff said!
I'm wondering if it's me or if this is becoming an all to common problem across the board?
Guys - if you could better appreciate the time it takes to research where to go, the time it takes to book the travel arrangements, the time it takes to pack everyone's special request, the time it takes to market, advertise and manage the posts we place. Add that to the actual time it takes to get from point A to point B and you've got a good week's worth of time invested without a one copper piece of return.
Do we need to start asking for even more information or should we start asking for travel deposits? Girls ~ I'd love to hear from you because reform is ultimately up to us.
I fully agree...the no show no call works both ways. It pisses me off when it happens to me but it actually saves me $. But the provider is both pissed off and loses a valuable ($) appointment and blow to her livelihood. It's easy to pick up a phone and cancel if you can't make it as the coutesy works both ways.
On the supply side it is STUPID business practice at best. On the demand side it is arrogant discourtesy. Either way; the practitioners of this disrespect for others merit only contempt.
Sometimes shit happens, I once had to cancel on short notice, well before she got the room, but resceduled and paid for the missed session as well as for the current one. It only seemed right
...a business associate in the "real" world, so WHY would you do it to a provider (or vice versa). Bad business. Bad karma. Don't do it. Smokey over and Out.
I have been cancelled on when I have already verified about the 2 hour date with the lady in the morning whom I had seen before and had a wonderful time. I spend the whole day anticipating the date and spent time to buy her a gift. I get to the hotel and call her 5 minutes before the date and she said that she need to cancel because she wasn't feeling well. No other explanation or apologies, no offer to make it up or reschedule. Next day she posts that she is available. So I just moved on and never contacted her again. So all you white knights can keep sticking up for the ladies but it works both ways.
The only time I have last minute canceled on a date was when my father passed away and I had to leave suddenly to be with family but I can tell you it has happened to me a few times. Not often, thank goodness, but it does happen.
I think when you are stood up last minute with no real ligitimate excuse, whether it be provider or hobbyist it should be posted. There are boards for ladies to post no shows and bad dates. They are a great resource and the men have the same capability on most escorts sites.
It's horrible when a gentleman has made plans, has been fantasizing about being with you, buys a gift and then is let down. By the same token it is equally horrible when a gal goes through all the trouble of getting ready, setting the mood, declined other clients only to be stood up. It is compounded when a provider, like myself, only sees one or two gentlemen on working days. That really hurts. - Lia
The escort/client relationship is a 2-way street...
The one time I cancelled on someone, it was over 3 WEEKS in advance, & I do regret that I cancelled to, BTW...
But, I've had ladies no-show or cancel at last minute (after we had confirmed appointments) & its happened to me in Los Angeles, Phoenix, & London - so we should remember that common courtesy works both ways - it's not always the clients fault...
for bringing up this subject. It seems to be happening a lot lately (it seems to come in spurts). The other thing that seems to be happening more (to me at least) is gents booking more than an hour and refusing to pay for the amount of time they scheduled (i.e. scheduling 2 hours, but only paying for one).
Crusr...boy would I like to have you as a client! Paying for the appoitment that you had to cancel on is a stand up thing to do!
On the provider's side, I will admit to having to cancel on short notice a few times (emergencies come up, migraines...whatever the reason), but I can honestly say that I don't think that I have ever NOT tried to send one of my good friends to take the appointment in my place or at least tried to make other arrangements. I feel that is only right.
Cancellations I understand....no call-no shows won't get a second booking from me. Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice shame on me.
I personally would love to hear some suggestions for how to reform such practices, but I don't think there is really anyway to do that without publicly releasing a hobbyists personal info... which I just won't do. And these hobbyists never use those of us they've stood up as references, so we are unable to warn other ladies. I don't know of any real effective way to let hobbyists know that a lady has stood them up either....so it might be useful to have a few suggestions on how reform might be realistically implemented.
require that the payment be left in the bathroom where I assume you enter to change into lingerie, or whatever before starting the session. This way you can privately check what's in the envelope and decide if to proceed with the session or not.....
BTW, liked your bathroom pics...lol
Too bad for them ![]()
Yes, I'm being a suck-up ! lol
"(it seems to come in spurts)" I had to laugh at that a little. Now what was the question?
Wow...that comment by me was a big freudian slip wasn't it???? LOL. The problem with leaving the envelope (which isn't a problem) is when the gent has scheduled 2 hours and left only enough for one hour and then won't pay for the 2nd hour. I've set aside that time for him...time I could have scheduled for someone else...so, now I'm out the $$ I could have been making..and am out what I SHOULD have made based on the time he requested. Hopefully that ranting makes some sense.
maggot by one, and plenty other things by others. and yes, I too have been "stood up" by a provider... but I was not out the expense of the room... The difference in the financial dent is enormous and has considerable ramifications.
Sorry, suck-up? doesn't wash in this instance. Wish it were so, as maybe it would garner some favor....
but I doubt it as I am green!
but since you have now explained your way of thinking as far as the provider getting the room goes let me offer a different perspective.
What if you got the room specifically for the encounter and the lady NC/NS ?
How would you feel about the financial dent then ?
I am cold ! ![]()
I had made arrangements with an under the radar provider for a holiday weekend.... expensive hotel... with NO REFUND policy... After I had made the reservation... she called and cancelled... but there are two things about this that made it OK! First - she called... it was not a simple no-show. And second, she called as soon as she knew that it would be a no show... that is several days in advance... so that I could make other arrangements (I did).
It is not that you can't make it, it is that you don't let the other person know, that is rude.
Unfortunately I was not granted the same luxury when it happened to me !
I learned a valuable lesson that day for sure.
Now I don't pay for the room until they are in my presence.
Period.
I had a backlast of gentlemen who thought my 250 was too much and rather than avoid me, they would go through the screening process and then stand me up or tell me that they only had this much. I now get a place if a certain client wants to see me as I have 5 that I can trust as they pay me ahead of time and then book a new client before them or afterwards
The only thing I seem to have in common with them is having a dick.
This wouldn't be a problem if the hobby could operate in the open and above-board like it should. It would be safer and more satisfying for everybody involved.
I NEVER got stood up in Europe, any more than I would a hotel room. When I started to hobby back home, I was in for a RUDE awakening. Bummer!
I have to say ladies have done this to me. It is not JUST the guys.
Three examples:
Set an appointment over the phone with an indy and was told I would receive a call 15-20 minutes before. The appointment was about 40 minutes away from my location, drove up in time, waited outside the hotel. No call. Five minutes before the scheduled time I place a call, leave a message. She does call back 10 minutes later explaining she thought we didn't set up an appointment, I specifically remember the time she told me, and I said it would work over the phone. She remembered it differently. Oh well, maybe I was wrong.
Same lady, different day, same issue. This time she agreed to call me before the appointment and we mutually agreed on a time twice to make sure. I again drive about 30 minutes out of my way this time, wait, and wait, and no call. Again I call and leave a message. Nothing. I call a second time and leave a message which now it is 10-20 minutes past our agreed upon time. She does call back explaining to me her friend got back from the airport upset and she wanted to stay with her. Good enough, but show me the courtesy of calling before I spend my time to drive up there. I also got the impression I would not have received a single call if I hadn't called her.
Different girl same issue. Time, place agreed upon (this time over email with an assistant of hers). Again a little out of my way (60 minutes). This time I check my email about two hours before the appointment to make sure nothing happened or canceled, no response. I go up, do exactly as I was told by the assistant and nothing. No answer. I call the number provided and leave a message. No answer. I wait about 20 minutes, hear nothing and leave. Back at my place I check my email and low and behold a message from the assistant received about 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment saying the lady had to cancel. The assistant knew I was about 60 minutes away, I blame the assistant on this one but still this keeps happening to me. Again probably my fault.
Maybe I just have totally bad luck. I thought I had learned a few things from that first experience but I guess I haven't. Maybe I pick the wrong ladies. Who knows. But ladies, if you need to cancel make sure the guy or couple or whatever knows well in advance. Needless to say this happened twice with this lady, the second time the assistant booked a time that conflicted with her schedule. Again I don't hear a thing until the day of the appointment when of course I had cleared my schedule that day. Again blame the assistant but come on, is it just me or does this happen a lot to guys?
PS - The ladies had my contact info, cell number and email address.
This rarely happens with a seasoned provider as she is more selective with whom she decides to spend some quality time with.
