END OF MESSAGE

In today's LA Times there's an interesting article about the prosecution of an alleged trafficker. Conclusive evidence of one or another position about how pervasive trafficking really is? Of course not. But an informative episode in the ongoing issue.

A search on LA Times trafficking for the past day has two hits that seem possible. One seems to be mostly about teenager exploitation and predation online which doesn't seem immediately related to most of what occurs here (but do support reporting such cases and warning other off on such offers). The other needs me to subscribe but is about AMPs, looks like Chinese related trafficking. But the later also seems to be a case of refuting, or at least attempting to, the charges.

Title of online story:
How A Madam At Chinese Massage Parlors Outside LA Took On Federal Law Enforcement

Great article. Public Defenders are often vilified by both accused criminals and the public. These two Public Defenders did a great job.

I can't seem to find the article in question.
